Met a couple of friends here who had heard good things about it. Two of us had Pad Thai and the third had the special (not exactly sure what it was). We all loved our food! The staff were very friendly and checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying our food. Will definitely return and would recommend for a quick, yummy lunch!

No more than mall food. Don’t order the pad Thai. It is very very fishy.

What a lovely place for a tea! The atmosphere is excellent, the service is impeccable. The Thay Ice Tea is wonderful and you can only find it here.

Very delicious and fast Thai food. Similar to Thaifoon in London but this restaurant seems to be the express version of it. Highly recommended for takeout but not a fancy dinner like the London location.

My family and I visit SOI Thaifoon in downtown Kitchener regularly, and it’s always an amazing experience! The fact that it's 100% halal is a huge plus for us. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you can really tell they care about the quality and consistency. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for delicious Thai food in the area!

AMAZING and filling food. The peanut pasta was sooo good and the smoothies and coffee was soo yummy and had the perfect size for servings. The restaurant was NOISY. Servers, clattering of dishes, small space and blaring music. The seating was also lacklustre; more stools than actual chairs.

Taste was OK. I’m not sure if I would come here again since it felt expensive for what it is, but the staff were super friendly & liked that it was a “pay for your food upfront & sit to eat” kinda vibe.

Food was good, from outside the restaurant looks old but inside it was fine.
The food was really good. We had the sprung roll, Pad Thai and Drunkard noodles 🍜 😋

I’ve been a loyal customer at Soi Thaifoon Kitchener since 2024. I always order the same thing - two bowls of Thai fried rice with shrimp, plus extra shrimp, paying around 2 × 27 CAD each time (20 CAD for the regular fried rice with shrimp, plus 7 CAD for extra shrimp).
Tonight, Soi Thaifoon completely ruined my evening. One bowl came as usual, but the other clearly didn’t have the extra shrimp I paid for - just the regular amount, which is really tiny. My spouse and I compared them side by side - it was obvious. She was deeply upset, and I felt cheated.
Now, instead of enjoying my meal, I’m sitting here writing this feedback while the rice is already cold and I’ve lost my appetite. Paying $7 extra (26% of the meal price) for an upgrade that wasn’t actually made is unacceptable. After so many visits, this kind of careless mistake really kills the trust and the good vibe I used to have for this place.

We ordered two fried rice dishes with extra shrimp, but one portion contained noticeably fewer shrimp
