Very impressed with the quality of food here. Had generous portion of bang bang shrimp for a starter, featuring fat shrimp with a crispy, light batter. The teriyaki bowl was full of tender chicken and mixed vegetables, light on the brown rice, which is the perfect way to make a bowl! My partner was also very happy with the bison burger and large side salad. Hope the other locations have this same winning format!

Update was here in June 2025 and had the appetizer Soup Dumplings which are very filling and tasty. I also had the spiced rum with coke, a very nice drink. I was served by Tyler who was excellent. Really enjoyed my visit. Next time try the bang bang chicken. Their jalapeno mac and cheese is excellent too.

My husband and I are moving to Kitchener soon and decided to check out the new neighborhood. We had a delicious lunch at State and Main today. We shared the beef dip and they were kind enough to put into 2 portions. I had a frozen Margherita that was awesome. 100 percent recommend.

Went here for our anniversary dinner yesterday and we were very disappointed. The place was empty, lights were all the way up, none of the table candles were lit.
Food was underwhelming to say the least. The staff were generally friendly but our server seemed absent minded and unavailable. Our meals were delivered cold (by a different waiter). My partner was half finished her meal by the time we got the condiments she requested.
If you're looking for a semi-romantic place for a date night this isn't it. Shame as I remember having some good meals here a few years back, seems to have really fallen off.

Terrible. We went here for our anniversary, despite the restaurant being almost totally empty we didn't see our waiter for nearly 20 mins, he'd disappear and show up randomly, we asked for condiments when our mains were served ( cold and not by our waiter for the record), by the time he brought the condiments my partner was almost done her meal, food wasn't worth the wait. Not bad enough to send back but not good enough to actually enjoy. None of the candles on the table were lit, the lights were up fully and it had more of a sports bar vibe than a steakhouse. First time I've ever felt the need to apologize to my gf for taking her out for a steak dinner.
The server was very nice but the service was very slow. We waited over half an hour for our burger and chicken tenders. However, the food was good! Just very slow service

We are never disappointed going here. The spicy Thai salad is my favourite! Service was excellent. I removed one star as on the way out using the bathroom there was no toilet paper or hand papers for my hands. Had to use what was in my purse.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here. Had the half off wings for the Wednesday deal which were superb, and the tuna poke bowl which was also fantastic! Our server Ollie was attentive, friendly, and fun. They provided excellent service throughout our meal and gave great suggestions for drinks and food. A wonderful experience overall!

We decided to try them out. Overall experience was great minus some minor things. Service was a bit slow and unorganized, but I also dont think they expected a busy Monday. The server, however, did make up for it with his energy and kindness. The drinks were great, and the food was overall amazing. We started with the calamari and tuna tar tar. Both were delicious, but the calamari definitely tasted better dipped in the tuna tar tar chili oil. We had the empire state and beef dip for mains. Ordered steak rare. It was a bit over cooked and under seasoned, but it was still good. Asparagus was, unfortunately, very bland under cooked and woody for its size. The mashed potatoes where however delicious and tasty. Beef dip all around was very delicious and great all together. Fries were nicely seasoned and cooked nice and golden. Overall, I would recommend this place. The experience was overall great, and all the other dishes around us smelled amazing.
