I had a very disappointing experience at Subway. I placed an order using a coupon from the app, but they charged me before preparing my order On top of that, they completely messed up my order. When I tried to correct it, they told me it was not possible to change it. I even asked them to cancel the order, but they refused again and said cancellation wasn't possible either.
In the end, I was charged for food I didn’t receive or want, and they did not issue any refund. This is unacceptable customer service. I expected better from a brand like Subway. I won't recommend it.

The food isn't great anymore. The menu's changed since COVID, and the portions are smaller. Plus, they charge extra for anything extra.

When there is any deals going on like buy 1 get 1 sub or buy to get to sub these guys are vaguley serving the chicken inside the sub
It doesnt need the calories mention by subway
And if we ask regarding this they are directly telling that the other sub is free u cant expect
And service is very wrost even the behaviour of the people who are working there is very rude
We are not getting what we paid for Instead the person who is working there says not to come here again if you are really hungry and day is wrost this place could make your day even wrost
Please check the reviews before visiting the place
Hopefully this would never happen again to anyone

I ordered 3 footlong subs May 22/2025 through Door Dash from the pioneer park subway .
When we received our subs - there were probs with two - the bourbon bbq steak one had barely any meat , no double cheese and was mostly veggies . The Canuck classic had the correct amount of meat and vegs but didn’t have double cheese . I phoned the restaurant immediately and the manager who answered the phone apologized and explained they had a trainee working and it had been very busy . He offered us replacement subs at a future date . He wrote my name in the book he said .
Well , when we returned Sunday to get our replacement subs - staff had no idea where this book was . They were closing early that night as they had run out of bread . ???
One of the employees took a picture of my receipt to send to his boss about our subway meals problem .
I went in today ,a week later , to get our promised replacement subs .
The nice staff member listened to our story and phoned her boss to get approval .
Well , he would only replace the one sub . He didn’t seem to care about making things right with the customer .
The best thing about this Subway location is the caring, friendly and fully trained staff . However the staff cannot carry the restaurant if management is poor and disorganized . Throughout this ordeal I have learned that at this location there are managers and employees being brought in from other stores and staff didn’t know who that manager was I spoke with on the phone or where this book is my name was supposedly written in .
In future I will be ordering my food from a different subway location .
I would suggest if ordering from pioneer location - order in person to make sure your order is correct and made with correct amount of ingredients .
There is a review a few months ago in which person said less ingredients were put on his sub meal - and management didn’t make things right for him .
This is a shame . This used to be a very good place when it opened .

The employees were rude and unwelcoming when my friend and I went in. The girl making my sub was unfriendly and seemed distracted. When I asked for a little bit of tomato she put more tomatoes than all my other toppings as well forgot a sauce due to her distraction. I also felt as though it wasn’t the customer service one should give since before I could even ask for salt and pepper my sub was already wrapped up. I love coming to this subway because it is the closest one around personally but today it was not the usual welcoming environment that it usually is.

I placed an order on February 13th through the Subway app from the Subway restaurant located at 123 Pioneer Dr, Kitchener, ON, N2A 2W1. After waiting for nearly an hour, my order was suddenly canceled at 10:50 PM. When I called the restaurant to ask why my order was canceled, they told me that somebody else had picked up my order and that they could not make it again because it was closing time. However, I had placed the order through the Subway app, and this response was both confusing and frustrating. Not only did I not receive my food, but I was also not given a refund, leaving me with no resolution. On top of that, when I asked if I could place another order, I was told that online ordering was no longer available, which only added to the inconvenience. If the restaurant was not able or willing to fulfill my order, they should not have accepted it in the first place. Making a customer wait, only to cancel the order at the last minute without a proper explanation or refund, is highly unprofessional. I wanted to give a 0-star rating for this terrible experience, but there was no option to choose 0 stars. I request an immediate refund for my canceled order and expect better service in the future to prevent such issues from happening again.

The food quality at Subway is good. However, the dine-in option is only until 9:30 PM, which is not clearly mentioned anywhere in the store. This can be inconvenient for customers who expect to dine in later. It would be helpful if the store clearly displayed the dining time to avoid confusion.

Rude staff, they make you feel as if you are getting the food for free.
The place was open, but was not close to standards. Toaster oven was not working.
The person at the front has an attitude, pouring all that negativity in my food.

I strongly advise against purchasing Subway sandwiches from this location. My recent online order of two footlongs, a veggie patty and a chicken teriyaki, was subpar. The veggie patty lacked sufficient vegetables and sauce. The chicken teriyaki suffered from excessively hard bread ends (which were inedible), insufficient sauce, and undercooked, bland chicken. Despite specifying ample sauce and vegetables in my order notes, the preparation suggests a disregard for quality and cost-cutting measures. This experience was deeply disappointing.

I had a very disappointing experience with Subway on December 23, 2024. I ordered a Footlong sandwich (Buy 1 Get 1 offer) through the Subway app at 9:18 PM, with an estimated delivery time of 9:30 PM. However, after waiting for over 30 minutes, the order status still showed "Preparing."
At 10:00 PM, I called the store to inquire about my order, and they claimed it had already been delivered on time, stating the delivery person took it at 9:30 PM. However, I had not received anything. When I contacted the store again to explain the situation, the staff was unhelpful and simply said they couldn't do anything as the order was already handed over.
I believe they gave the order to the wrong delivery person because another delivery person later came but didn’t receive my food. When I requested a refund or a resolution, they refused to take responsibility and provided no solution.
This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I was left without my food, and my concerns were dismissed. I expected better service and accountability from Subway. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I hope they take steps to improve their processes and customer support.
