The owner/male manager that’s always there is pretty rude. Like others have described, he nickels and dimes, and makes small requests seem like a huge inconvenience. I was asked if I wanted a bag after paying, but then denied after answering yes because he “already rang it through”?

His attitude visibly changes when he sees that you don’t tip. Why would I tip anyways?

The owner was rude. I ordered a footlong, but he put barely any meat. When I mentioned it, he removed everything and added even less, saying, “Go somewhere else if you don’t like it.” I left without food. Subway should review their franchisees—this guy has no care for customer service. P.S. There’s a kind woman who makes great subs.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location. I came in to purchase six cookies and clearly specified the ones I wanted (4 M&M & 2 Macadamia). The staff refused to provide what I asked for & instead gave multiple excuses, including that certain cookies were “reserved for someone else in the morning”,which made no sense. This raises concerns that they may be serving customers cookies from the previous day rather than baking fresh batches

After going back & forth, a worker finally after calling her manager & I'm guessing he didnt want to bother with my concerns. Changed the cookies & did so with an attitude, and when I questioned why they weren’t honest about the situation, I was spoken to in an unprofessional manner. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had an issue here on a previous visit I was told I couldn’t use my Subway app deals because the manager “frowns on it” which is completely unreasonable and not in line with Subway’s policies

Overall, the manager & staff at this franchise show little regard for customer service or professionalism. The lack of transparency, the dismissive behavior, and the questionable handling of food leave me concerned about the overall hygiene and practices at this location

My advice: Avoid this Subway on Highland at all cost please. There are plenty of other locations that value their customers & operate properly

Hate to be negative, but I’m going to mirror what other reviews are saying here. I recommend against this subway. The food isn’t the problem, it’s still subway. The problem is vibe. The manager always seams to have a chip on his shoulder, came across as overly rude to his employees, and whould continue to upsell me after I had declined.

In addition, they do not seem to have there priorities in order. Multiple times I have come in here, scene a long line, and scene employees baking bread in full view of the customers, despite the line. I understand you can’t screw around with that sort of thing, but if I come to a small store, with a long line, and only one employee is actively makeing sandwiches? I’ll go to the burittto place next to them.

Just on this Wednesday morning around 9 am I went this subway at highland park plaza and there was one Indian lady out there first of all I didn’t knew the gate she she very disrespectfully told me to get by the door and when I asked her to make me subway veggie pettie she told me in great great rude manner that it was not available the company people didn’t have it they have to send it from factory etc… etc.. I was shocked by the tone she was using like yelling at me seriously I felt so bad now plz give your employees proper customer service skills before putting them into counter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLZ🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 SO DISGUSTING 🤮

Worst subway branch. While other branches give 4 scoops for Tuna, they give maximum 3 scoops, that too by pressing so that they can sell more with the same amount. It's cheating. Avoid this branch.

Beware of this location. Owner tries to upsell you at every turn, every time. And he gives attitude when you tell him no. I know I'm not the only one he's starting to irritate. Customer service here is heavily lacking.

Subway really beed to think who they are giving there franchises too. Had to throw the food, will never visit again.

My father visited your store alone today and had a very unpleasant experience with a middle-aged male staff member probably the owner. My father showed him the sandwich on his phone and explained the toppings he wanted, but the staff member was rude and refused to add them. He served a veg footlong without the veg patty, only with vegetables.

After payment, the staff member threw the bill away himself. He even asked for a tip, and when my father declined, his behaviour became even ruder.

My elderly father also requested to use the restroom, but was told it was “out of order.” Interestingly, when my father explained the sandwich issue in Hindi, the staff member claimed he didn’t know Hindi — yet, when denying the restroom request, he spoke fluent Hindi.

This behaviour is completely unacceptable, especially towards an elderly customer.
