My experience at the Trunk was AMAZING. The atmosphere was entertaining and really drew you in. I tried the landing strip cocktail which was incredible. Josh was my server and he was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back to try more menu items and drinks! Highly recommend.

Overall weirdly mixed experience.
We were a group of 7 adults on November 22/25.
Asked what was on tap, server replied that they were having trouble getting their drafts in stock….weird…
One in our group wanted to order the roasted Brussel sprouts, server replied that their Brussel sprout order didn’t come in…..weird…..
One in our group asked for a coffee, server replied that they don’t serve hot beverages here…..weird…very weird.
One ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was more batter than chicken.
Those that ordered the Moranis pizza thought it was quite good.
Overall it was just ok and this will most likely be a one and done visit to this restaurant with so many other more nearby, more reliable supplies places to dine at.

Another just okay restaurant in Kitchener. This place was amazing back in the day at their old location, I was excited to go back after all these years and bring my girlfriend . Fried chicken tastes like KFC, pizza crust was soggy and undercooked. $200 for 4 drinks, 2 entrees and an app isn’t reasonable considering the quality of food. It wasn’t disgusting but we eat better at home. Won’t be returning.
They have the tastiest fried chicken, and it’s not greasy like a gross KFC knockoff. The pizza and drink selection also both very good. Great date night spot.

I had the Roasted Mushroom & Cauliflower salad with chicken for $23 and it was a best a small appetizer size. This dish was not an entre quality. I would avoid this restaurant until they server full size meals.

A vodka and orange juice. Not a unicorn. Not a flaming cocktail served in a coconut by a fire juggler. Just vodka. And orange juice. But apparently, that was too much to ask.
The server looked at me like I’d asked for moon dust. “We don’t have orange juice,” she said, as if that were a perfectly normal sentence in the hospitality industry. What’s next—no water because it’s too mainstream? P.s This was my 3rd visit with the same result.. Sad...

Fantastic atmosphere, a good place for everything from just a drink to whole birthday dinner. Great, unique food options and good selection of cocktails and local beers. The fried chicken especially, is a cut above for quality.

There's not much food to choose from before 5pm. We left because of this so I can't comment on the food.

We went here for our wedding dinner and the experience was incredible. Taylor was our server who was prompt, and helpful. We were a big group but he was able to balance the busyness of the group as well as serving other tables. The food was great with many of the party commenting on the high quality and good taste of the food. We always recommend the fried chicken and waffles as it remains a staple of one of the best versions of the dish available in the area.

Unfortunate they don't have reservations. Waited over an hour on the front deck for a 4 top table, no issue, we were served drinks and talked on the patio but I noted many 2 person (at least 3) were able to get tables almost instantly. I understand there are certain tables spots but just wondering why couldn't two 2 top tables be one 4 top.
Brussel sprouts were amazing! Kettle chips a bit stale and meh.
The inside of the restaurant was weirdly spaced - felt very close to the table next to us, but there was tons of empty room across from the kitchen. There is also very little sound absorbing items so every noise (voices, kitchen clatter, etc) bounces off of the walls and the space becomes very loud very fast.

Food was not that good also the cocktails were not really well made plus in a tiny glass for the price it wasn’t worth it. Also the staff also said the specific item that we ordered is not preferred by many, why have that on the menu then ?
