The passion of the chef's, friendliness of the staff and the dedication to having amazing menu options, all helped to curate an amazing experience for me. Also as a gluten-free/vegan it's hard to find restaurants that balance the menu between veg and non-veg equally. Very refreshing! Highly recommend!!

Probably the best vegan sushi I have ever had! They make their sushi exactly as I like it: loads of tofu (which they make in-house) and veggies, and just enough sauce to give it some kick. Very flavourful and the portions are quite generous! Though there aren’t any tables where you can sit and eat, I still would say the service was top notch. My and Jared were super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. A great, new find!

absolutely amazing experience, made our first christmas eve with our baby a little warmer 😊 the portion sizes are generous, prepared with attention to detail, all vegan (yet tasted absolutely DELICIOUS like regular sushi) and the staff were all so friendly. we didn’t see their ‘sold out’ sign when we walked in, but they still made our order for us. thank you for the lovely meal, we will definitely be back!!

I have been somewhat of a regular for the past couple years. The sushi is some of the best I’ve ever had. The rolls are quite large and filling, but loaded with flavour. I’ve actually made a point in every time I order to get 2-3 rolls as per the chefs choice. Jared’s an absolute master of his craft, as is My.
Not only is the food incredible, but they are incredible people. The vibe they have created with humble lotus is just as satisfying as the food the prepare. They are heavily involved in the community donating all of their tips to food for kids kw.
If your looking for some of the best sushi, bowls etc, created by 2 of the most amazing people in the area, you need to try the humble lotus in kitchener.

I’m obsessed with this place. The owners, Mai and Jarrod remembered my name and allergy weeks after I came here for the first time. The absolute sweetest people.
The food is exceptional. Everything is super fresh and made on site. I was finally able to have sushi for the first time in years because they’re able to make it gluten-free. It was so so fresh. Today I am having the coconut curry chicken and it’s blowing my mind.

Stopped in on a whim, and I'm so glad we did! My and Jared were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcomed! They even suggested more local places to check out as we only recently moved to the area! The dynamite roll we ordered was 10/10 and tasted so fresh! We will definitely be coming back 😊

It came with lots of wasabi, soy sauce and ginger as well. I'm not sure how the place is inside as I got takeout. Bon appetit 😋
