The food at Lab Street eats is good but often not worth the price.
I’ve had the single, poutine and the Mac and cheese topped with Cajun chicken.
The single is an ok burger, nothing special. The bottom bun was also way too bready and the top bun was rather anemic.
The poutine was good and came in a very large portion size. I’d rather it have a thicker gravy. Though the generous amount of cheese curds and black pepper topping made it better.
The Mac and cheese is a complete waste of money. I paid an extra $5 to have the Mac and cheese be topped with Cajun chicken and all you get is a couple of crumbs. The Mac and cheese was also incredibly bland
TLDR this place is fine but there’s better.

The food here is delicious, the staff are so nice and welcoming. I am addicted to their Mac and Cheese, I could eat it everyday and I wouldn't get sick of it!! Highly recommend checking this establishment out.

A tiny little diner hidden on Victoria Street with a delightful staff (and owner) serving local beers and good faire. I had the patty melt which was much like a cross between a grilled cheese and a hamburger, and the soup. Both were very tasty. The patty melt seemed a little paltry, especially when I saw huge bowls of Mac and Cheese, fries and huge hamburgers being served. I would suggest (as I should have done) you either ask the server what is good, or point and say I'll have that. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and the atmosphere felt like community. Note: not wheelchair accessible. Street parking is available nearby with 2 hour free parking.

It was very good! The food was delicious with large servings. I had a new cider brand that was awesome too. The only downside to my visit was that the place was packed and it felt a bit closed in with people waiting in line beside our table for their take out orders. In fairness it was 1:00 pm and I don’t know how you would change this because the restaurant is quite small. Rating on the food is 5*!

I've heard about this place many times and seen reviews online so we just had to check it out....Fabulous dinner !! Patty Melt with caramelized onions and poutine. So delicious ! Very friendly atmosphere! We will definitely be back!!
Went to the Lab Street Eats yesterday evening with my sister and son. The Badass Cheeseburger, Cajun Chicken sandwich, and Jerk pulled pork tacos, with a large order of fries were ordered. The large order of fries were more than enough for three adults.
The food was amazing. What topped the food was the friendly service!!
I highly recommend the Lab Street Eats. Enjoy great food, friendly service, and fun atmosphere.
