Let me preface this by saying, I used to love The Yeti. I hadn’t been in over a year, and this was super disappointing.
The good: I like the side patio and the whimsical decor both inside and out. They have great coffee.
The bad: My bagel sandwich was not good, huge chunk of tomato that had the tough white core still inside. The bacon was so hard I was worried I’d crack a tooth if I kept it in the sandwich, so I took it out. My partner’s bacon was completely black and inedible the first time it came out, so we asked for a refire on the bacon- it came out 20 minutes later, completely hard and dry, though not black. About 1/3 of his fruit was noticeably past date and shouldn’t have been included in his meal. Truly wish I had better news, but we likely won’t be back as two modest breakfasts and coffees set us back $50.

I really don’t get the hype? Over the course of several visits the food has been consistently average but one thing that’s remained the same is the unfriendly service. Truly have not experienced such poor service elsewhere in the region. Staff makes you feel like an inconvenience and is generally cold and unfriendly, making the environment tense and unwelcoming.

They have a really good coffee. The food is also very fresh and tasty. They also have very good fresh juice. I really enjoyed my experience there. I recommend 100%.

So many breakfast places have decent food and terrible coffee. Their coffee was quite good, the breakfast sandwich was big and a little awkward to keep everything on the sourdough bun, but the flavours we good. Plus their front patio was lots of fun with live music across the road at the market. We will go back.
A cozy cafe in the heart of downtown kitchener with a good spread of delicious food.
Vibe was charming and energy radiates thru the cafe.
The main reason I loved loved visit this cafe was - support to local.
Bread , milk and more are sourced from local vendors and shops which made the food even more fresh and amazing.
Eby manor chocolate milk was served.
Prices are a bit more , and its a self serve.
I wish they had more sweeter options for breakfast ( like pancakes , crepes). You get a little pony instead of buzzer or number once you place the order.
Overall its a nice to visit and enjoy food with fam and frns.
