Absolutely amazing all the way around. The staff was great from the start to the finish. The brunchie was so delicious and the bread was super fresh. I had a lavender late and it definitely did not disappoint. We stumbled on this little gem by accident but will 100% be back.

I must say - Yeti Cafe is my favourite cafe ever. The service is beyond great, the food unique and flavourful AND the vibe is indescribably awesome! šŸ‘šŸ‘ I honestly miss living in KW for one reason alone - that I can’t go here more often. But when I do, it makes my soul happy. Well done Yeti team and management - you have a real gem here šŸ‘ŒšŸ™ŒšŸ‘Œ

Food was cold, service was chaotic and restaurant was very loud. Couldn’t wait to leave. Food did taste good.

The staff were welcoming and funny, the interior was homey and colorful. The coffee was delicious and so was the food (I just wish my sandwich was larger). Id say this is one of my favorite local cafes, and it offers solid vegetarian/vegan options too! Would be a nice place to visit with children and special needs children.

I’ve been a big fan of The Yeti for years. This place is bursting with character and attracts people of all walks of life. Their coffee is some of my favourite in town, and I am an absolute sucker for their cinnamon buns. It’s the perfect spot for a pre/post market shop, and the outside seating options during the warmer months are fantastic.

All of this being said, I want to share recent experiences that I hope can be considered for quality improvement.

I used to love going to The Yeti for brunch. The sauces on their sandwiches? Their thick cut bacon? Delicious! However, in the last year/year a half, I’ve noticed a real shift in quality. The thing is, I can tell they are investing in good quality ingredients. I’m not sure if there have been recent changes in kitchen staff, but it seems like the execution of the meals is the culprit. The bacon doesn’t have even the slightest hint of moisture, and halloumi cheese is shrivelled, cold, and lifeless. Sadly, for the price, I’m not getting the value I would hope for.

I think with a little focus on refining the meal execution, The Yeti will be back as a top brunch contender. Until then, I’ll stick to the coffee and cinnamon buns.

Great location, great vibes and aesthetic inside! The food was great as well, loved all of the different options - it made it extremely hard to decide! The seating area can fill up very fast so be mindful about the time you’re arriving.

I have lost faith in google reviews. They're misleading. The restaurant was not clean, the coffee mug was asked to be changed. Mediocre breakfast at best. How is it 4.6?

Best place in Kitchener downtown for brunch. We ordered mushroom soup, vegan BLT, breakfast burritos and lavender latte. I loved all of them.

Service can be improved. I think the person who takes orders doesn’t communicate everything to the kitchen. I told him that I need vegan breakfast burritos but since I am vegetarian I can get regular sour cream as a side instead of vegan side which they didn’t deliver to me. Also we mentioned that we need soup first and latte later. That person gave us latte just before soup, which I politely told him that I don’t want latte right now. So he took it back and gave after sandwich and burritos arrived, but he could have considered my instructions at first.

Other than that everything is perfect. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely small cafe serving up fresh breakfast. I got the brekkie with friend halloumi, avocado, over easy eggs, and toast. Delicious.

The Swiss French toast was excellent. Not cheap but decent quality. It's a very popular spot with not a ton of space. Music can be a bit loud, but it has a good vibe. Their payment machine has an opt-out tip screen which is off-putting.

Great food and excellent service! The breakfast options were amazing — fresh, clean, and flavorful. We ordered two brekki combos with different sides, and both were fantastic. They even offered us an extra hash brown at no charge, which was a lovely touch. The coffees were brilliant too .really enjoyed my Americano!

I just want to give a big shout out for this place. I was there having lunch on thanksgiving day, my family was visiting from Mexico. The lady who was in the kitchen was super kind, and patient with my mom who was trying to order in Spanish…lol. Everything was delicious, and the workers also kind, nothing bad to say about this place.
