Drive thru server noticed the lid cracked when he put it on so he threw out the lid and put a new one on. Seems like a small thing but that could have been coffee spilling on my pants leading to me looking down at the wrong moment leading to a fatal car accident leading to criminal charges leading to a number of dismal years behind bars. So thank to the Tim Hortons guy who noticed my cup lid was split.
