I reached out to multiple restaurants to host my large birthday party and TWH Social was by far the easiest to communicate with and executed the perfect birthday dinner. Director of Food and Beverage, Ranjit was very helpful and accomodating. The communication was amazing and really made the night run smoothly.
The service was phenomenol, the atmosphere was perfect and all 18 guests and I left very happy with full bellies from the delicious food.
I would defintely host more events here!

The Ambience was great, and the service was top notch , they totally go out of their way to ensure that you have the most amazing experience there. Probably the best service I've had anywhere.. They have exceptional creative drinks and the food was very good. The goat cheese with bread, appetizer was absolutely amazing. We parked at the walper parking lot, which is less than a minute walk away. Would definitely recommend.
I had the most memorable experience ever. I went there to celebrate my birthday this Saturday and I enjoyed myself so much. As we walked into the restaurant and had such a nice, cozy, ambience, and beautiful decor. The washroom was also really pretty. I ordered the calamari and buffalo sandwich which came with fries and they were both so delicious. I had a raspberry mocktail, which was so nice. The workers were also really sweet and hospitable, they made us feel so comfortable and valued, adding to the experience. Overall, I had an amazing time at TWH social. Although I feel like one thing they could work on is making sure that there's always someone at the front desk to accept reservations because when we walked in there was no one there and we had to wait for like five minutes or so which wasn't really pleasant.
This is the second time we've had a mediocre experience. They were out of fries this time. Last time they were out of burgers. We had to wait while they made coffee at brunch time. They seem to always be “out of sorts”
Was disappointing that even though we had reservations booked a month out for a special occasion, there was no table avaialable for us and we had to sit at the bar for 25 mins waiting. And with needing to get to a show after we were having to ask them to rush our food. It was incredibly loud for a sit down restaurant. We had to yell to hear each other . Maybe a better spot for a fun crowd just looking for drinks and apps. Food was average for the cost.
We came before a concert. Atmosphere was wonderful, as was our server Mike. The guys hamburgers were big juicy and lots of flavour. Us girls had the salmon over risotto. The risotto was very salty and the size of salmon was just ok. Would have hoped for some veggies with our meal. Mentioned we were celebrating birthdays when reserved but nothing was mentioned about dessert. We will eat here again as I feel it was a busy night and truly deserves a second chance
I'm not sure what is to love about this dark basement restaurant. No need to go back for us. Our server was nice. But lacking ambiance. The menu (brunch) was boring.
Our table of four thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's Eve 4 course dinner for the 2nd year in a row at TWH Social. All staff was very welcoming. Service and food was excellent. An upscale dining experience with a menu to match and with lots of choices. I was impressed with the delicious Lobster bisque (with generous pieces of lobster). My next choice was the Venison Carpacchio, (also excellent and a generous portion). For my main I had the beef tenderloin with scallops; also nicely prepared. Our desserts were also very good. I did miss the sorbet that was served between courses last year, but this was a minor detail. We enjoyed our server, Miro who was very attentive to our needs and helped to make our night very enjoyable. All in all, a great evening.
An easy place to talk and get to know someone. The waiter was helpful and positive and was great at knowing when not to interrupt. Overall a great energy in place.

TWH is our go to when we're headed to an event. We always let them know so our server can help keep us on track time wise. Service is outstanding, food is exceptional. We will be back!

food was ok (french toast a little burnt) , the place was empty for breakfast and the food was served quickly. I had to ask 2 different people a total of 4 times to get a glass of orange juice.

Had a 5:45pm reservation. Started off okay with drinks and an appetizer. By 7:30pm we had still not received our meal. No explanation given. Left hungry and mad. Sorry we went at all.
aturday date night at TWH and all and all it was good. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff.
Stayed at the Walper and after checking out the downtown area we decided to stop in for a mid afternoon snack and drinks.
We had the avocado bruschetta (sourdough) and OMG it is the best avocado spread I have ever had! It is served in a bowl with sourdough on the side so you can dip or spread to your liking. I highly recommend it!
It was so good that when the dinner hour came we decided to return .
I ordered the roast chicken and my dinner date ordered the pan seared salmon.
The chicken was very moist and very little bone, super good chicken however the potatoes were very hard.
The pan seared salmon never came instead we received 2 roast chicken meals.
Unfortunately this did not seem to be a big issue to our server Priya. Instead of comping the meal she offered to wait for the correct order to be prepared or have 2 shots on the house.
It was date night so waiting for the correct meal would have made mine cold or I would have ate while his was being prepared and that’s not ideal for date night.
Due to this server error I would not recommend TWH to anyone nor will I be going back.
I will order takeout , specifically the avocado bruschetta in the future (delicious).
Unfortunately customer service is lacking across the board these days but with TWH having ties to the Walper we expected more.

We attended the restaurant for a dinner reservation prior to attending a wedding upstairs. The reservation was made approximately 6 weeks in advance. Staff communicated promptly and were accommodating once they learned we were guests of an associated wedding. The reservation was made for 24 people with 22 people who showed; two less than anticipated. Service was terrible upon our arrival. Two designated servers with multiple other tables to tend to which had them over worked and inattentive. There was only one bar tender which left us waiting upwards of 30 minutes just to get our first beverages. Finally our orders were taken and it was 2 hrs before our main courses arrived. The food was delicious once on the table. The manager was made aware and offered us 10% off. Unfortunately, the experience as a whole was subpar and I would not recommend the restaurant.
