Very nice service, tasty food and big portion for the price, must give it a try
I have NEVER been disappointed when I come to the mall and grab a bite to eat here. Consistently good. The gentleman working is always very friendly and quick to offer a sample of something to try. He has never steered me wrong. Definitely my go to snack at the mall!
The gentlemen here were extremely accommodating in regards to my spouse's nightshade (peppers etc) allergy. The grill was scrapped down so there wouldn't be any contamination from previous meals.
Food is hot in temperature and appropriately spicy, staff is approachable and samples are given.
We will be back.
I've passed Umi many many times but due to food allergies I never went.
We asked the two gentlemen if there was anything I could have, explained my allergies and they only had a single cooked item I could eat. Not only did they offer to make me an item that would be acceptable but they were hyper aware and cleaned the grill and even waited to cook the next person's item. Even explaining why.
The chicken teriyaki was tasty, will definitely order again, on that alone.
But the attention to detail for some food allergies was top notch. They could have said sorry, no. But instead made sure I had a safe meal.
We will be back forsure!
They are so friendly and the food is delicious
This place has, without a doubt, the most horrendously awful and disgusting bubble tea I have ever had the misfortune of drinking. I’m convinced that not a single drop of real tea or milk was in whatever fluid I was served. It’s as if they took an artificial tea-flavored syrup, mixed it with water, and threw in some light brown food coloring to make it look like tea—but trust me, it’s not.
The most shocking part? The absolute overload of sugar, artificial sweeteners, and who-knows-what kind of chemical sweetening agents. The drink was so sickeningly sweet that after just one sip, I felt like I was drinking straight liquid sugar mixed with artificial syrup. I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing contained enough sweeteners to violate health and safety regulations. There’s no warning label, but there should be—because consuming this feels like a direct assault on your health.
And the taste? Beyond vile. The sheer amount of artificial sweetening agents made it completely undrinkable. It was so nauseating that it ruined my appetite for the next 24 hours. I never thought a single drink could make me swear off bubble tea, or even tea in general, but this disaster of a beverage managed to do just that.
If you value your money—and more importantly, your well-being—do not waste five dollars on this monstrosity. Just go to Gong Cha down the road and get a drink that won’t make you regret your life choices. This was nothing more than chemical-infused sugar water with some brown coloring. I took one sip, threw it in the trash, and now I’m seriously considering reporting this place to Ontario health inspectors—because there’s no way this much artificial junk should be legal.
Spring roll was raw. Rice plain. Chicken is just cover with flour. Vegetables in the bowl very poor. I recommend to try to sell better conditions of the food for the restaurant.
Anytime I am at the mall, during lunch, I order from them for me and my family. Love their food and their workers are always happy and welcoming.
Got a Boba drink form there and it was not cold at all itwas room temperature at best. The flavors were very light. I saw the guy who cooks the food go to the back and he came out with wet hands, I thought great he washed his hands, then he proceeded to shake the water off his hands onto the griddle over the food he was cooking. Safe to say I hope management sees this and I hope they actually care.
They have great food, and the staff, especially Jay, Joel, and Aby, make you feel very welcome.

Amazing food tried the chicken teriyaki with extra shrimp, was the best thing I’ve ever ate thank you
Not good
I was walking by and almost missed them when the guy called to see if I want to try their special. The price was better than the other stores so I give it a shot and the food was actually pretty good.
I like that they cook it fresh and everything was done very nicely with the noodles and teriyaki chicken.
The guy who called my attention first was a nice guy and he did a good job cooking up the food.
It was a pleasant surprise I discovered this place. I will stop by again next time I’m in the mall. The special was easily three dollars less than what was available next door.
Best food 😍
The staff here yesterday evening were amazing! They were so nice and quick, and the food was absolutely amazing. I will definitely stop back for food here next time I’m at the mall, really awesome people and food!
