Not sure if it is due to staffing shortage, that service was very slow. There was only one sushi shef and 1 waitress.
When we walked in, there was only 1 other table of 2 who were already eating.
Our order took over 25 min to arrive, and what's worse, is that they brought the soup and salad at the end of the meal!
The miso soup was bland, and tasteless. They put so much rice on the sushi (perhaps to fill you up) , the dumplings did not smell good, and the spare ribs were too thick, chewy and didn't have a good flavour profile.
We didn't want to over do it (food wise) so we ordered a la'cart, and frankly for 2 of us we might as well have gotten 2 all you can eat specials because their prices were so inflated, our bill cost almost as much.
We were so unhappy with the taste of the food, we didn't bother packing up the leftovers because we weren't going to eat it.
Maybe it's an off day, but this was my first time eating here, and don't think I will go back again.
The waitress was friendly though .

Orders are placed through an iPad and the dishes arrived quickly. They have added a small salad bar and self-serve ice cream area.

The rolls just weren't that great. The only soy sauce they had was the light salt one. I asked if they had regular and they said no. The water that they brought us was like warm tap water. Just everything was just a little bit under welming and bland. I'm sad because it's very close to my house.But I just feel like it's not worth it for the price.
