Went twice and both times the 2nd order takes 25 minutes or longer. I usually do batches of small orders so it’s not much food but still takes forever. Won’t be going again

Wowow loved it. We usually go to yes but never again. This place is a gem! And the service us outstanding. The owner and sushi chef and everyone was just so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious as well. They even made a custom roll for us and it was super. Loved it

Not sure if it is due to staffing shortage, that service was very slow. There was only one sushi shef and 1 waitress.
When we walked in, there was only 1 other table of 2 who were already eating.
Our order took over 25 min to arrive, and what's worse, is that they brought the soup and salad at the end of the meal!
The miso soup was bland, and tasteless. They put so much rice on the sushi (perhaps to fill you up) , the dumplings did not smell good, and the spare ribs were too thick, chewy and didn't have a good flavour profile.
We didn't want to over do it (food wise) so we ordered a la'cart, and frankly for 2 of us we might as well have gotten 2 all you can eat specials because their prices were so inflated, our bill cost almost as much.
We were so unhappy with the taste of the food, we didn't bother packing up the leftovers because we weren't going to eat it.
Maybe it's an off day, but this was my first time eating here, and don't think I will go back again.
The waitress was friendly though .
