My wife and I started coming to this location for breakfast shortly after it first opened, and the amazing food and exceptional service quickly turned it into a weekend tradition for us. I recently visited Wimpy’s Diner with a friend, and we were extremely disappointed with the service. Despite having several empty booths, we were told that they were reserved for larger parties and that we couldn’t be seated because we were only a group of two. Instead of accommodating us, the staff chose to wait for potential larger groups, leaving us standing there without any consideration.
It’s frustrating to see a restaurant prioritize hypothetical customers over those who are already present and ready to dine. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and shows a lack of customer care. We ended up leaving and will not be returning. I hope the management reconsiders their seating policies to avoid disappointing more customers in the future
Edit to respond to Wimpy’s: The staff asked us to wait for another group to finish their meal and leave, which unnecessarily rushed those customers. The wait time provided wasn’t just for cleaning the table. The response only doubled down on the negative service.

I order from here on UberEats quite often - and it’s ALWAYS amazing. The food is delicious, the portion sizes are huge and the prices are completely fair. The staff often leave nice notes on the bags too which is so awesome! I can’t wait to dine in here sometime as well.

Been at this location twice in 2 weeks. Food was cold both times both on a Sunday around 6:30 pm . Sadly difficult to communicate with broken english waitress. She was pleasant but very hard to explain any issues with here. Weber St location I have gone to for years.Never an issue.Always great service and food.
