Woodfired Cafe and Bakecurry

It is January 17 2026 at 12:55 I just went there for some bread. Very bad practice: the atendant grabbed the bread with his bare hands, not a good practice and after he did used the cashier machine

Went here for a quick snack on our way out of Kitchener Waterloo. Store was about to close in 10mins. Bought 3 things, a sesame bagel, a cherry tart and a croissant. The bagel was to die for, just like a good Montreal woodfired bagel, it had a hint of sweetness, the texture was firm but soft and the aroma of the sesame was ample, it was so good. The cherry tart was also amazing, the crust had a bit of flakiness which was unique, combined with tartness of the cherries, it was a perfect combo. I can't rate the croissant fairly since I didn't had it on the evening off (was already stuffed with other pastries!). All in all, I'd totally come back to this cafe to try their wide variety of offerings!

Food and drink so delicious! I picked up a bunch of little treats for my kids! There are egg-less options too, which I am so grateful for because one of my kids has an egg-allergy. Cannot wait to try all of the goodies I got!

I was very impressed with the curry. Delicious and affordable with generous portions. Many vegetarian options too. Taxes are included and they don't hound for tips. Thanks, I'll be back!

Came across this place and popped by to check it out . It’s a nice little spot with lots of offerings. Everything is made fresh the portions are great! The croissants are huge and delicious! The dessert/sweet selection is amazing. The scones are huge ! Will have to come back to try more things another time.

Super cute bakery and cafe! Made sandwiches with their caramelized onion focaccia bread, 10/10! I’m also in love with their ginger molasses cookies! Looking forward to trying more of what they offer.

Very tasty & unique wood-fired thin crust pizza, a sizeable portion, reasonable prices. Maybe a little salty for my taste but definitely better than most. Strawberry rhubarb tart was delicious. Looking forward to trying other things offered here.

Ordered 2 pizzas. Over 50 bucks. Fine. They arrived and had zero sauce. Literally no sauce. The pizza was incredibly dry. So I called to let them know and to learn if no sauce was some kind of *thing* they did. No, they said they add sauce to pizza. So I said there is no sauce and he told us they "put light sauce". I took photos. It was impossible to chew. He said okay well next time clarify you want sauce on your pizza...??? Huh? Since when?

Bagels are different they are so not like they used to be..... not even wood over flavor. And for the price 17 a dozen .. I will pass and go to Ottawa location
