Got the large shawarma pizza for about $20. It was very good. It was ready in 12 mins just before the lunch rush. Garlic sauce hit, and the hot sauce was very spicy. Split it between 3 people. Overall, pretty good.
Zay Zaman Shawarma has become my go-to spot in Kitchener. Their chicken Saj wrap is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had—so fresh, juicy, and that sauce is just addictive. What makes it even better is how kind and welcoming the staff are; they really make you feel like you’re visiting family.
The place itself is small, cozy, and always spotless, it’s got that warm, homey vibe that makes you want to come back again and again.

We have been to many restaurants in KW area that serve middle eastern food including Shawerma, however non of them really has the Syrian touch.
Zay Zaman procides that Syrian touch / flavour in their plates and indeed it’s really delicious.
Definitely we will order from Zay Zaman again and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Syrian cuisine.
