We visited one evening for drinks and the following morning for breakfast. Our evening server, Sarah, was full of information and happy to be challenged to make a cocktail that was new to her. Our breakfasts were great too and the stand out was the bacon which was more thickly sliced that retail bacon and certainly more tasty.

Fish was so greasy, coleslaw had no taste, fries did not seem freshly made, but maybe kept under a warming light. Asked for one of the meals to be removed from bill. I was informed the fish and chips were already discounted as it was their special. Totally bad customer service, paid over $60 with tip and 2 beers. My stomach feels like a grease pit.

Went for lunch on Monday. Had the special - Fish and Chips. Food was excellent. Service on the other hand was very poor. The waitress was extremely abrasive and rude. Argued with us when we were served with cold water for tea. Was nasty to other people there. I don't think I will be back.

Beautiful cozy little pub with excellent staff. We wwmt for wing night. Half price wings. Usually $17 a pound. Wings are a good size also agood amount of sauces to choose from. My wife had a burger and said it was one the best she's had. Buger came with large amount of fries. The wings had no side dish our veggies. We will be back.

We had the wings and French fries. Everythingwas delicious. The beer was cold The service was great. The staff were friendly. Cute little place with a great atmosphere. We like to go back in the summer and sit on the patio. Lakefield is so pretty.
We went to this restaurant for breakfast, we won't be back.Our toast wasn't toasted, the hash brown patties were very oily and not crisp at all and the worst thing...the bacon, as our waitress told us, was cooked the night before and thrown into the deep fryer this morning, it was horrible looking and tasted even worse, hard as glass. We gave it back to our waitress and she brought us ham which was just reheated.Our waitress asked if we wanted Maple syrup with the pancakes or the Table syrup, we said Maple not knowing or told there was a $2.00 charge for Maple syrup. Also $1.00 extra for Rye bread. It's not the cost that's bothersome, it's the principal.The coffee was ok, big mugs and comes with the meal.The waitress was nice but the food was not so nice.

I just want to say that for anyone whom wants not just food atmosphere and customer service but actually caring this place says and does it all. I tell all about Canoe and Paddle and thank you for all..cant wait to come and actually have dinner st your place????Parking: It was fine for me but I also know it's winter but when staying at the Village Inn it works..
