Served by a woman name Jackie, first of all holy fake woman, up and down personality, hot than cold. Our over priced pasta wasn't cooked properly, apparently she's the owner, she never apologized, told me that's the way they do it.
She was arrogant and bosy, then when we went to pay the bill, she pointed out how great my blouse was and than went to hug me... Ugh! What a way to counteract your behavior by hugging someone... Be cautious here, this woman is scary fake and so is her restaurant. Food not worth it, service horrible, would never return and I live in Lakefield.

If you want a gourmet flavour train this is your place! Very intimate setting. Great atmosphere, Bonnie has a great personality and is an amazing server!
The chefs are not forgotten either! If we could shake their hands, we would!
Would highly recommended to anyone looking for somewhere quiet. We've lived here our entire lives and feel like we've been robbed not knowing it's there!!
Well be back and bringing friends!

I just managed to squeak into the lunch service before they closed. What a treat.
I had the roasted pear spinach salad, which had blue cheese, walnuts and creamy balsamic vinaigrette topped with a chicken breast. Divine.
Owner was on duty and service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Went for the dinner last night. Ordered Caesar salad and Coquille St Jacques. While Caesar salad was good , Coquille St Jacques were so-so. I tried them many times in France and Quebec, and to my taste , scallops should be more tender, and sauce should have more flavour. The service was great, and presentation of the food was nice . We were also surprised to see the restaurant almost empty on Saturday night, last year it was packed at during the weekend night in June.

A gem in the middle of Lakefield. Perfect service and food was impeccable. Owners obviously love serving and meeting all your needs. Reservations are definitely required ❤️🍷
Great attention to detail and tasty food. I love how the food was healthy as well!
Held a birthday party here for a friend. The owners, Rob & Jacky were very accommodating. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend this small quaint restaurant. Just check the website for there hours ahead of time, as they are limited.
Fantastic place great food great staff
Had a blind date a Cassis yesterday. Not sure how the relationship is going to work out, but the dining experience was second to none. Really excellent food, perfectly-sized portions, reasonable prices, lovely, personal service and comfortable ambience. If I can find someone foolish enough to want to date me - even once - I'll take her to Cassis. 😄
Food was delicious! Butternut squash and apple soup was so tasty and pastry stuffed with brie and chicken was also really yummy.

We were there for a family meal a few weeks ago, it was really nice. The food was excellent, really enjoyed it. We'll visit again next time we are back over from England.

Frenchish place. Maybe best that you can get in Lakefield, but over salted and dry steak and chicken.

Came here with my wife and 6monthbaby at 7.31pm on a Wednesday evening. They outright refused to serve us (last seating being 7.30pm.) I would have expected a little bit of leniency for the sake of one minute. Directed instead to the canoe and paddle who could not be more welcoming!
