We rarely give recommendations but Hobart's stands out and deserves kudos. Great staff, food and service. We had a wonderful time there on Saturday night thanks to Erin and Bryce and all the other others! Thank you!

Beautiful view of Stoney Lake. Prompt efficient service. We both had manderin orange salad with slivered almonds and yakstori steak. The dressing was fantastic. They could have used more manderin and more almonds. The staff was lovely

We had lunch here for the first time. Staff were amazing very professional, polite and quick. We were given the best seats in the restaurant with a gorgeous view of the lake. Food was delicious. Love the breeze coming through the window. Looking forward to going back. Thank you to the staff

Dining at Hobart’s Lighthouse on Stoney Lake was an absolute treat! Nestled at 2281 McCracken’s Landing Road, Lakefield, Ontario, this gem offers stunning lakefront views and a cozy, upscale vibe. The menu shines with fresh, local flavors—our highlights were the zesty chili lime popcorn shrimp, flavorful seafood jambalaya linguine, and perfectly cooked rainbow trout. The Caesar salad was crisp and delicious, and the kids loved the fish and chips. Service was warm and attentive, with the staff making us feel like family. The signature cheesecake was a heavenly finish. Worth every penny for the exceptional food and atmosphere

We make the drive to this restaurant a few times a year each summer, generally for celebrating Anniversaries. We always have a wonderful time and the food is always amazing. We were just there end of June and we all had the 10 oz Ribeye dinner and it was incredible as always. Everyone raved about their meal, the meat was cooked to perfection and the sides were so delicious. Pro tip, don’t sleep on getting the cheese fritters - we are obsessed! Thank you for making this special anniversary dinner (my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary) a memorable one. See you again soon!

Tucked away along the waterfront, this restaurant delivered one of the most satisfying dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The view alone is worth the visit — calm water, a gentle breeze, and a sunset that felt like it was made just for us. But the real star here? The food.

I ordered the double bacon and triple cheese burger, and it was everything you want in a guilty pleasure meal: juicy, rich, and stacked high with perfectly melted cheese and crispy bacon that somehow didn’t overpower the burger. The bun held everything together without getting soggy — a small detail, but a game-changer. Every bite was a mix of bold flavor and serious comfort.

My girlfriend went with the steak, cooked medium-rare, and it was spot-on. Tender, juicy, and seasoned just right — no fancy sauces needed. It came with a side of roasted potatoes and asparagus.

Service was friendly and relaxed — not rushed, but always attentive. Whether you’re out for a date night or just want to treat yourself, this place hits the mark on food, vibe, and location. We’ll definitely be back.
