A hidden gem. Gluten free options & open year round.
Got to try the pies and the butter tarts amazing. The best part is you can buy half a pie and don't have to waste.
Tiny place...big food... everything there is great..donuts are huge...have a butter tart for sure
It was the best chicken pot pie I've ever had. Almost like my grandma's, and the blueberry lemon danishes are out of this world by far the best I've had
The treats here are amazing. The butter tarts and the varieties and the mammoth cream filled donut, so good. The place is dangerous to drive by lol. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause the customer service could use some help. The atmosphere hasn't been that friendly or helpful when we have gone.
Blueberry tea biscuit with lemon drizzle...so good with my coffee! Friendly staff and a true small business home town vibe.
Stopped here on our way up north for a family cottage weekend picked up enough for the 15ish people that were coming. We arrived and found out everyone else had the same idea. Fast forward 48 hours later not one tart made it out alive. Considering flying back up from Phoenix just to grab a few dozen.
Hands down best tarts. Perfect taste and crust. Worth the drive.

Update (Sept 2024): I stopped in on the way home from the cottage since they are open on Sundays now. We tried the "eats" for the first time and the poutine is phenomenal. And a lot for the money. The blueberry lemon fritters are sooooo good.
Tried a few different items here. Based on reviews I tried the cinnamon bun, which was probably the best cinnamon bun I've ever had and definitely recommend. My boyfriend wanted to turn around to get more. Also tried the sausage rolls (Oktoberfest and maple bacon) which were very good, the garlic cheese sticks were very good, and the Chelsea buns were solid. Good customer service.

It seemed a little "on the nose" to get the butter tarts here (justifiably famous though they are) so we got iced cinnamon rolls. Unbelievably good! It took two of us 3 days to eat 6 of them because they are so sweet, but it was definitely worth the effort :). Can recommend!
