Going to this McDonald’s in lakefield always brightens my day. They always greet you with smiles and genuinely care about your order. Definitely recommend just for the awesome service.

One of the best remaining McDonalds within 3 hours of Peterborough.Unfortunately it looks like the staff that have been here for years are getting replaced with immigrant workers living in Peterborough.The ladies who have worked here since my high school days have been consistent and hard workers.The packaging and presentation here is the best around. Nicely wrapped with stickers to hold the wrapping closed. No spillage inside the BigMac box makes the difference.I hope this place continues to be good and doesn't go downhill like all other locations.The downside is McDonalds overcharges for all food now. Almost triple the price. What once was two people's food for $40 is now one person's meal.

Stopped here on Dec 30, 2023. The staff were run off their feet!! beyond crazy busy. I felt bad adding my order to their hectic day. My food was hot and not mixed up how I don't know but it wasn't. THANK YOU! I will say that it needs to be updated. Very dirty looking.

"I've noticed that McDonald's mentions they serve warm sandwiches, not hot ones, which is fine. However, I've observed that especially in the later evenings, when I order a quarter pounder, it's so cool that the cheese hasn't even begun to melt. A quick poke into the burger confirms there's no warmth, in fact, it's quite cool. Just a friendly heads-up to check orders for consistency. Thanks!"
Possibly the best McDonalds I've had since 2020. Perfectly cooked, Oils were very fresh, Lettuce and other vegetables were crisp, and hot golden fries with a huge slice of great customer service! Will be going again.. alot.Vegetarian options: You can get many items without proteins.Dietary restrictions: Just ask, they will be attentive!Parking: Lots of spots!Kid-friendliness: It's a McDonalds! What kid doesn't love it!

McDonald's has outpriced itself!! A McDouble combo that was 5 bucks plus tax a couple of years ago, then 6 because of covid is now $9.80(with tax) apparently because of the increase of minimum wage. Tim Hortons put there breakfast combos up minimally. Maybe 3% to cover the increase. McDonald's.....30%!!! That was the last time I will ever go.

Attached to Petro Canada. Common washroom. Small outlet, not enough sitting option. No Kiosk ordering option. Seems this place is mostly used for drive through.Parking: Parking is not enough.
