We drive from Windsor for one of the best gyro combos and fish burgers around. Friendly staff who remember all of our ordering preferences. Food is delicious and made with care. Well worth the drive, Greek salad is also great.

Charcoal Pit has been a Belle River staple for decades, and it’s clear why it’s stood the test of time. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the portions are generous, and the service is warm and friendly. I’d much rather stop in here for a quick lunch than settle for big-name fast food it just feels better supporting a small-town spot that delivers great value and great taste. A true local gem.

I ordered a gyro combo to find there isn't much meat, besides it is presliced processed donair meat, not gyro meat sliced fresh off the slab, I found the meat to be bland. The fries and salad were perfect. I think I will order my gyros from Sofo's.

Were were house hunting in the area and popped in here for a quick bite and are we ever glad we did! The pork souvlaki was so tender and flavourful with the perfect blend of spices, on a soft pita and garlic tzatziki sauce! Chef’s kiss! Friendly staff, quick service. Will definitely return ?
