LISTEN. We are from New Orleans and driving through the area when we saw this place and decided to try it. It was the best decision we ever made that day. Why does it matter when I said we are from New Orleans? The south knows a lot about fried chicken, and Peter’s Kitchen Broister fried chicken is to die for. MICHELIN STAR. I can’t express how grateful I am for the kindness of this wonderful family-run restaurant. I arrived hungry and exhausted, only to realize they had already closed early. But instead of turning me away, the owners welcomed me in and went out of their way to make a fresh chicken meal just for me.
