Great event space for our small family Christmas party. The server kept us all organized and gave us plenty of time to visit too.

This was really good . My kids kept saying it was “ten out of ten” as they ate . Everything was good , especially dessert my goodness. Seems like the perfect place to eat . Clean inside and inviting . Food felt fresh and prepared in house . Even the coleslaw and what not . Was all perfect . Servers were nice too.

The chicken parmigiana was tasteless
The pasta it came with was no better
Little cheese on the chicken and next to no sauce
2 tiny pieces of garlic bread looked like cut from very end of bread
You could literally see through it it was so thin
No vegetables or salad
Others in the group had perch which they said was good
Steak also was tasteless tuff and chewy
Service was good but when asked for water for the table it didn’t come until everyone was done eating
Sorry to say I won’t go back
3 pc Perch with a side was excellent!
Friendly, fun.

we went this Sunday and were very disappointed.
it was not busy at all and it took about 50+ minutes to get 2 basic appetizers....wings and salad...like almost an hour wait... our kids were going crazy because it meant having to wait even longer for the actual food to come..so after an hour the waitress comes and ask "shall i put your order through?... like...what !!? there was no way that could have been miscommunicated, so really really bad.
the salmon was horrible as well, really tough. she came without the cravy one of us asked with the fries. no cutlery, that we grabbed ourself from the front. asked for a new ketchup bottle that was empty and didn't come...so i grabbed one myself , a to go box we asked that also didn't come, so again we had to get it ourself....it was just really bad (and it was not busy,, not sure what the waitresses were doing.....) really bad service and not "one sorry" from them for the delay or anything..she actually gave a very mild attitude about it.... so disappointing when you take the whole family out to end your week, and it goes like this. The bill should have been cut in halve by management...
Don't think we will be back here unfortunately unless there was some crazy special in future.

I had the Thanksgiving Day special which was absolutely delicious. I told Ashley our server that if this served at home I'd be going for second helping.

Our waitress was phenomenal, but I ordered a medium well steak and it came out rare. They did take it back and recook it as well as replate it. I don't usually order steak because a chef can rarely get it medium well but my husband talked me into it. Never again will I order steak. Wine was good though?
One of the best perch dinners we have had in a long time. The meal was hot and fresh. The perch had a crisp crunchy crust done just right. The fries were hand cut and fresh. We particularly liked the tartar sauce… home made and very tasty. Too bad we live 3 hours away I would be back at least once a week

We have eaten here many times in the past but last night was unimpressive to say the least. One of us had a steak and asked for it medium rare and it came to the table medium well. When she asked for it to be replaced, they took her whole plate and then later came back and told her they were out of baked potatoes and she needed to pick something else. The scallops special was overpriced for what came to the table as was the poutine. We ordered a couple of martinis and one was an ounce bigger than the other. When we asked about it they said the ice must have melted in the larger martini which means that they were informing us that have been left in the shaker on the bar for an extended amount of time. That just didn't seem to make sense. Our waitress made sure to announce she was the owner's sister and all the food was great. For the price, it was simply underwhelming.
Chicken wings were horrible.
Not crispy, huge but not in a good way with soggy skin and the meat was mushy, and they weren’t hot. The manager did remove them from our bill but I lost my appetite to get anything else. My guest said her perch and fries were good.

I never like to give bad reviews, however this time at Sandbar the service was awful. I live in the area and visit Sandbar frequently and usually the experience is very good. I was waiting for over 10 minutes at the hostess stand before I was even acknowledged to be seated. My guest was running late, but once she arrived the service was very slow. I asked for a water at one point during the night and the server came over half an hour later with it when I was paying the bill. It was a bit disappointing, as I truly love visiting Sandbar.
