As always the Sandbar has amazing food, great atmosphere and an amazing staff! From the first hello at the hostess desk to the very last ‘happy birthday!' To my 81 year old dad - class A establishment! Silvana our waitress was incredible and funny and attentive and kind! She took the experience from a great 8 to a solid 9.5!!!!! She rocks!! You and your family or friends will love this little place tucked back on a scenic canal! Thanks again all! We will be back!!

We were a family of four and sat at a requested high top in the bar area. Our server Lauren was lovely, kind and friendly. Our calamari was tender and delicious. We had perch which is always tender and tasty. Thank you for another wonderful evening.

It was a convenient location to meet with people coming from Windsor when we're coming from the Sarnia area. Nice it is on the water. I had requested a window, but did not get one which was a little bit of a disappointment since I had booked a few days before. We enjoyed the wonton appetizers, the Caesar salad had plenty of dressing, and the haddock was good.. However, the french fries were overcooked and dried out. The chicken marsala could have used a bit more flavor.

We always enjoy our favourite restaurant. Feb 14 th was no exception. The staff are friendly and well trained. The new ownership will only make it better we are sure. Congratulations!!

Always a friendly environment on the river next to Lake St. Clair. Prices a little high for what is served but I guess that goes with the cost of food in general. Good taste and well presented.

Portions were small compared to the pictures on the menu. Halibut was overcooked. The french fries were awesome and so was the clam chowder. Service was awesome just wish food matched it better. Was very disappointing for a first time customer.

Wonderful service again, and a great atmosphere.... lively and social. If you want quiet and romantic maybe not for you. Great for celebrating and getting together with friends. Only reason for 4 star for food is because husband's steak a little over done, and garlic shrimp had no garlic though cooked perfectly. Was pricey but it included drinks and tip and tax for three people.... actual food price very reasonable.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our "Perch in a basket". Our server Mathieu was outstanding and even though he was extremely busy, we were served quickly and efficiently. We will be back!

The Sandbar Grille is a go to spot for us. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is always spot on whether we are going to hear a band, watch a sporting event or have a romantic dinner.
New Year's Eve and by 8 p.m. they had run out of 2 of the 7 entrees and 1 of 3 desserts. Our waitress was quite pleasant and tried to be as helpful as possible. As for recommending the Sandbar to a friend, it's more of a maybe than a yes or no. It's nicer when it's warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the boats and lake.

The waitress was great. The food was cooked correctly and came out hot. The waitress also made sure that our food allergies were addressed and handled properly. The only complaint is that they ran out of veal dish.

This is our second New Year's Eve enjoying dinner at the Sandbar. Our server was excellent and attentive and the food was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better evening.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends. At that time of day, it was an ice quiet atmosphere for talking and being able to catch up. Our server was delightful. Charming and attentive without being overbearing.

Great experience. Our server, Kylie was very attentive, great smile and eye contact and provided an awesome experience. We'll definitely be back. I found the steak I ordered to be very tasty, but a little tough...the rest of the meal was excellent. We'll definitely be back, and would recommend to anyone long for an excellent dining experience, Dave D
