Worst breakfast I have had in years :( I was very excited to frequent this place again seeing it used to be the best in the area but received green tea not black tea to start then when my order arrived they gave me burnt bacon not the sausage I had ordered and the hashbrowns where boiled and tasteless... my partner ordered tomatoes and the kitchen assumed that was a substitution for the hashbrowns... not like she was missing out anyways :(

Food was average but took forever to get to us, Ruben wasn't as per their menu they put cheadder on it instead of Swiss. Ordered 2 apps wings and the shrimp and only wings came out. (Waitress obviously forgot about ordering it.) Up side there wasn't many people there.

Worst food, service and atmosphere I've ever encountered. Starting from the moment I walked in the door until I left. Also like to note that their cameras they have EVERYWHERE also have microphones to record what you are saying- which I'm pretttttttty sure is against the law. How this place is still in business is a huge surprise. Must be because it's the only place to sit in and eat in their town. I took my food that I didn't eat home with me for the dog and it wouldn't even touch it. Quality 0 Timely manner 0 Friendliness 0 Price 0

I've heard that the establishment is under new ownership and I'm, not sure what the service or quality of food was before, but they were great this weekend! I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing what ever you fancy. The menu is a little on the big side so you may need a couple of minutes to read. We came in almost at lunch and were able to have breakfast with ALL the meat; peal meal bacon, sausage and ham with great grilled (not deep-fried) home fries. And that came with 3 eggs and toast! The village of Lanark may not be as quaint as the many other villages and towns you find in the Ottawa Valley but this little restaurant sure does make up for that. Wonderful inviting and attentive staff, the coffee just kept coming. Even though they were winding down to close just after lunch they allowed us to take our time, a real pleasure. Cash and Cards are welcome. If you are set on making it here for a stop on a trip through the valley you may want to call ahead to see if they are open. With the current times we are in they are closing for a while between lunch and the evening/dinner time. I just don't want you to be disappointed if you were set on making it here. As we left someone showed up even for a take out order, and they had to be turned away since the kitchen was closed and dark at that time. Google opening times I have found are very hit-and-miss with many establishments, not only this one.

Very impressed with adherence to pandemic health guidelines! Food was awesome too! They did an interior renovation while closed and it looks super nice!

Well, where to start. We order 2 apps.,stuffed mush.and potato skins, then I was full but wait there is more. Hubby got the admiral platter,2pc. fish, shrimp, scallops, onion rings and a 10 lb. bag of fresh cut fries lol. I order the chicken parm with spaghetti. I can honestly say that the meat sauce was the best I have ever had from a restaurant, and no water on my pasta, yum yum.Hubby could not finish his platter which very rarely occurs.Kudos also to the great staff. Can't wait to go back and try something else. P.S. Best kept secret in Lanark.

Excellent wings, both bare and breaded. Sauce on or on side, you decide! Regular or sweet potato fries. Or choose cut veggies. Love Monday evening Wing Night!
