Today April 20th I had to pick up a cake for my son's 2nd birthday that I had ordered 2 weeks in advance. I asked for a specific custom design and Deysi said she could do it. But today when I arrived at the bakery to pick up my cake at 12pm, she sent me a message through WhatsApp at 12:03pm when I was basically just parking outside, and she said that she could NOT do the design that I asked for and instead told me that she could add an edible picture. She made me choose between 3 options. This is not what I asked for and I asked her why couldn’t she have told me that she wouldn’t be able to do my customized cake 2 weeks ago when I ordered my cake? She didn’t respond to my question and said she will give me a discount instead. I did not want a discount I wanted the cake that I originally asked for, if you can’t make a customized cake then why can’t you be straight forward from the moment that I made the order? The right thing to do was to tell me from the moment I made the order (on April 6th) that you COULD NOT make this custom cake. I would have understood and asked for a simpler design. When I expressed my disappointment, she blocked me on WhatsApp instead of addressing the issue or offering an apology. She was in the wrong here and did not apologize. She did not accept my negative feedback. And by the way, she has made customized cakes for me before, and they were always beautiful. How can you go from making beautiful customized cakes to not being able to do them? It sounds to me like she ran out of time or she completely forgot about my order. This felt very unprofessional, especially without an apology or acknowledgment of the issue. I would not recommend her, go with someone else that is professional and can accept when they have made a mistake.

A very humble, quaint and welcoming place with cakes, pastries and coffee that will please every palate. The Mocha Cake is excellent and the Cafe Frio are definite favourites. Definitely recommend.

I used to love this place however we been notice the cake slices were not fresh, the double chocolate cake was too dried, the 3 leches cake tasted weird, and the top of the cheesecake was tough. The service is good but the place looks always sad.
