The food was tasty and the staff was very friendly, but the service was extremely slow. We placed our order before other customers, yet we were served last. Everyone else’s food arrived except mine, it turns out they didn’t write it down. After a long wait, they finally brought it out, but by then all the other customers who arrived after us had already finished eating. Asking for things like water also took forever, and I eventually had to go find the server myself. On the bright side, they didn’t charge us for the item they forgot, which we really appreciated. Overall, the experience was a bit frustrating, but the staff’s kindness and the good food made up for it to some extent. Hopefully, they improve their service times in the future.

It’s hard to review just one item at Sonia’s place. Every thing is so tasty and made with such patience and effort that it shows. Leamington has some great Mexican food joints such as Salsa Caliente, Taqueria Ajua, however Sonia’s place brings Leamington’s Mexican Foodscape up on another level, which is great for lovers of Mexican food. The place has some space constraints and hence people have to wait a while for their turn to sit down. However, every time I have found the wait to be worth it.
