Was in Lindsay for the first time this weekend. Stopped to view the Lift Lock. Delighted that a Jet Skier was using the Lock. Amazing still operates by hand cranks. On my way to Peterborough for the Stock Car races. Ate at this restaurant. Staff were so FRIENDLY. Food was pleasant. Fair price. Will return!
Super fast delivery and great food — wonton soup with pork, chicken fried rice, and beef lo mein, all hot and fresh when it arrived. Ordered around 5:35 and eating by 5:53. Highly recommend for takeout in Lindsay.
Buffet was sparse, cold, rice was dried out, had to request foods to be replenished, a couple out walked out as they were not any options to choose from. Only a few patrons, should have read the reviews prior to going. Unfortunately, will never return.

Friendly Restaurant is known for its fantastic food and amazing service. The spacious restaurant offers a big buffet with many vegetarian options and accommodates dietary restrictions. The staff is friendly, fast, and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Americanized Chinese food is highly valued, and the cheese wontons are a popular choice. The owner and staff go above and beyond to help customers. The restaurant is suitable for various occasions, including weddings and events. The food is nostalgic and the price is amazing, offering a good food selection. The kids cost for buffet was more than reasonable, making it a place to bring children. One customer had an amazing experience from ordering over the phone to the delivery and the taste and amount.
