A&W in general remains my goto on the road. Listowel location is 2 blocks away. Service is acceptable, and everything is made fresh, not reheated as some of their competitors do. And, with my allergies, I know exactly what's in the food, and that it's as advertised.
We eat there weekly. Good food! Today however at 1:30pm a new young girl was asked to wash the floor. She complained and said to her manager “why can’t Nick do it?” The very pleasant manager said “we all do it”
She then enters the dining area with the mop & pail and mumbles “this is so embarrassing” We finished our meal & had to walk over the wet floor when she made an obvious sigh of disgust that we walked on her wet floor.

We usually eat in but today had take out.My Teen burger was nothing like the ones I have when we eat in.Lettuce was limpy tiny little tomato that was pathetic looked like something I would toss in the compost not eat.Onion rings were way over cooked.Self serve pop machine was out of order. I am totally disgusted and unhappy with what I got.My husband said his Mama Burgers were over cooked.I feel the Listowel A&W has gone down hill and no one cares.Sure not worth what you pay for.The...read full review
