My daughter got a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. My other daughter got a moe burger with onion rings. My wife and I split a four piece chicken finger with fries. The food was good however the fries with chicken wings came to almost $25 by itself. And it had very little food. The final bill for three people was just over $85. The price was crazy high. For these prices you could go sit at a restaurant and be served. It used to be that going to a chip truck was the best value if you were on the go.
Very good poutine! The cheese curds are so fresh and the gravy is amazing.
I’ve always enjoyed eating here, to the point where a few years ago, I considered myself their “best customer”. I highly recommend the Wilbur poutine with fried onions and peameal.
Best Chip Truck probably in the whole province
Just tried to order food at the spudster and the person taking orders did not understand English at all. Then tried to way over charge me.until I called them out on it. The bill went from $65 for 2 basic poutines and one basic hot dog. Then once I did the math the price came down to $35 dollars. Wow is all I have to say another place ruined I will never be back
What a gem. Little Britain will be my go-to destination for ever more. I want to try everything. I had the Boss Hog Poutine, yum yum yum. Small/regular was a big meal. Delicious. Outdoor picnic tables were clean and provided shady and sunny seating.
Classic over hyped small town chip truck, it’s all the town has so of course everyone thinks it’s good. The Spudster isn’t anything special or even very good, fries are crunchy with no softness as if they have been sitting for some time and just tossed back in the oil to warm them up. Yeah they use real curds but the gravy is generic from a pack or can so it ruins it. Maybe if they had normal prices it would be worth the stop but considering it’s easily twice the price of any other place I wouldn’t bother trying it. Check out Tommy’s dinner just 10 minutes away, much better food at a much more affordable price.

This place came recommended by a friend, do we decided to try it. We ordered halibut and chips. On a positive note, the food was served hot. However, the fish was unevenly cut, so that parts of it were freezer burned and overcooked. Batter was OK, but very oily. The chips were limp and oily. I do not think the cooking oil was very fresh, it has left a disgusting aftertaste that I cannot get rid of. I guess I should have had a burger.
This has got to be the best food truck around for poutine.
I had the Homer. Which comes with a perfect amount of bacon on the fries and smothered in gravy and curds!
The fries are just perfect and would be amazing just on their own.
I haven’t been here in a little while, but I don’t recall it being so expensive. The poutine and a bottle of water ran me about 22 dollars.
But I will still be back, just not regularly.
Vegetarian options: Fries and beyond meat things
Parking: Free parking but can be tight and busy when the store beside them is open.

The service has gone down hill over the years. Have been stopping here for a very long time, but the last two visits have been disappointing. Employees are very rude over the phone. The food was expensive. Very disappointing. Will not be going back. 90$ for a family of 5 for fries is insane.

Nice chip truck! A huge menu of options for burgers, hotdogs, and poutines. The food came quickly and was hot and delicious. We are in the picnic area right beside it and it was a nice little night. I would definitely recommend it as a chip truck experience in Kawartha Lakes.
