See all those 5 star reviews? Yes, and for good reason. As others have noted, it's easy to find Sichuanese and Hong Kong style restaurants, and plenty of Canadian-Chinese restaurants, but this place gets special love for offering northern-style dishes. I don't care if a restaurant serves 10 dishes that don't move the dial. What I care about, and what the vast majority of you care about, is whether there is at least one or, if we're lucky, several dishes that remind us of the special qualities of a region we love. 5 stars for THAT. Yes, 5 stars every time.Dietary restrictions: Keto friendlyLow-carb friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendly

My girlfriend loves to eat pot-packed meat, and now I eat a certain restaurant in Toronto. I can only say that I eat it here and there. In the huge Toronto, this restaurant in Little London is still delicious.

Hello, I had an elise and my partner had a meal that included an assortment of meats for a delightful breakfast. But it ended up taking a turn for the worst. Coras, previously was very high quality, didn't cheap out on their customers and were fair. But now they aren't. They gave my partner ONE saucage. The cups were small for our coffee! As if they were rationing our food for world war three. The wait took forever. AND the waiter looked like he was on the verge of dropping everything. The poor guy looked desperate.

Greated at door promptly. Seated right away. Great server. Should have walked out after 45 minutes when our order was taken. Just getting ready to go (Now an hour) and food shows up. Sent one back. Cold. One was eaten. Paid for one meal. Trust it was an off day. But, I will not chance it again.

Let me talk about the conclusion first. I personally think that it is qualified as a cuisine, but it is completely unqualified as a Northeast cuisine.I ordered a total of four dishes. I don't comment on the fried beef with scallions, I can only say that it is average. The dried tofu with sharp pepper is medium to high, the dried tofu is a bit old, and a lot of it is stuck together and not fried. The pot-packed meat and Northeast Lapi are extremely excessive. I understand that the taste should not be too heavy to cater to the tastes of non-Northeasters and Canadians, but it is the first time I have eaten pot-packed meat with soup in my life of more than 20 years. , there is no paste at all, it feels like a sweet and sour sauce poured on the plate after frying the pork, and the meat slices are ridiculously thick, and the taste is very bad. The Northeast Lapi is actually made with sesame paste, which is completely unexpected to me. It is the first time I have eaten such a poor quality Lapi, but I need to admit that it is qualified as a cold dish, But as a "Northeast Facelift", I personally judge that it can't even get 3 points.I give this dining experience 3 points, and 2.5 points of these 3 points come from dried tofu with sharp peppers. I really haven’t eaten this dish for a long time, and some of them are very satisfying, and the remaining 0.5 points come from Lapi , because it really has a facelift. It is worth mentioning that before this time, I had a very high evaluation of this restaurant. I seriously doubt that they have changed the chef, or that the chef did not come to work for something and let others take over.

The taste is still very good, but the quantity is much lower than that at the end of 19 and early 2020. I hope it can be improved. The overall restaurant quantity in London is quite large now, but this one has decreased......

Family birthday outing for brunch. No line up but waited 10 minutes to be seated and 15 minutes to be talked to…then another 10 minutes for water. They served tables that arrived after us before us. Most menu items are $14 to $18 for breakfast. Lots of staff but no clue. Food was just okay…potatoes not cooked but ate half as wouldn’t take a chance on waiting for a replacement. As we were leaving there were 20 people waiting for a table in a more than half empty restaurant…avoid this place.
