Excellent chicken sandwich and tenders but the waffle fries have been terrible twice that I’ve ordered. They are dry and tasteless, tastes like oven cooked day old fries. Couldn’t eat them both times. Great sauces on the burgers and for the tenders but don’t order waffle fries.

I almost don't want to review this place because it's such an amazing hidden gem. They make the best chicken sandwiches in the city! Absolutely delicious, huge, crispy and still juicy! Waffle fries are spectacular, and the Oreo Banana Pudding is next level.

We had supper here tonight(took it home) and the entire experience was great. First time for us and the person that took our order was very helpful and friendly. I customized my chicken sandwich and he made sure they made it perfect. We also ordered chicken strips. They were delicious, tender, melt in your mouth and spiced perfectly. Also, ordered a cheese sauce and it was super tasty too. We never got a picture as the smell was making our mouth water too much and dug in right away. The quality, taste and friendly staff were all wonderful. We recommend this place for sure. P.s. made fresh.

What an amazing worker Alex is! What amazing all the staff are! I came into 808 Chicken House on Saturday, November 1st, with my son to order the 30pc honey bbq wings. Alex was the one who took our order, and he let me know right away that there would be a bit of a wait since the wings would be made fresh which I really appreciated! He took my order smoothly and professionally, and while we waited, we had a great conversation about the store and the owner Edwin. I could see Alex working in the kitchen, and he was so precise and careful with the food really taking his time to make sure everything was done right. You could tell he genuinely cared about the quality of what he was making. Just from watching how much effort he put in, I actually went out to my car to grab some cash so I could leave a tip, he definitely deserved it. When my order was done, he thanked me, told me to enjoy, and reminded me that the wings were fresh. I asked for his name and thanked him personally before we left. When we got home, the wings were perfectly sauced and hands down the best we’ve ever had. Thank you, Alex, and thank you 808 Chicken House, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped by in London and my friend said he was going to take me to the best place for chicken tenders- and wow he wasn’t lying! Tenders were unbelievably crispy yet so soft- full of flavour! 100% recommend- good food, great vibe and nice staff.

Fantastic fried chicken served by very friendly staff.
We got and split two chicken sandwiches, the classic and the triplet both spicy
They weren’t very spicy for a spicy sandwich, which could be good or bad depending on your spice tolerance, but they did have a nice kick
One of the burgers chicken breast was much nicer than the other, which kind of sucked, but it was still good
My only complaint with the burgers was there was much too much sauce on it for my liking it was dripping everywhere running down our arms, not something that could be eaten in a car or on the go. I will definitely order them again and ask for light sauce on both.
The actual lettuce was crispy and a decent amount and the pickles were huge and very tasty. The actual sauce they use was very flavorful. The coleslaw on the triplet could’ve been nicer, but it was still good.
Now we got the chicken strips. They were pretty uniform in size. I would say pretty on par with any of the fast food chains size wise, but the quality was much nicer. They were quite thick very little breading, very juicy and very tender and the breading that was there was so crispy and flavourful that you didn’t need much so it was the perfect ratio.
Their pickle chips were very crispy and just enough pickle and breading the perfect consistency. They went really nicely with the spicy 808 sauce and reasonably priced five bucks and I think we got about 12 and they were a decent size each one probably two bites maybe three each or if you’re a pig one bite like me lol but it’s quite the mouthful
The sauces were great. We got two that came with the five strips so we got the original 808 and the spicy my personal opinion just get the spicy. It’s not spicy, but it has much more flavour than the original 808 We also got a honey mustard and the extra sauce is very cheap. You get a little container. It’s well worth the extra to get an extra sauce or two for the variety now the highlight was their chilli citrus. That is one of the most unique nicest sauces I’ve ever had in years. It’s a wet sauce not mayo based definitely reminds me of some of the Asian sauces you get with spring rolls at Vietnamese places and Thai places very flavourful stuck just enough to the breading and it was incredibly enjoyable. I would go there just to buy some of that sauce
We ordered ahead for pick up over the phone don’t use any app. The up charge is over 30% per item. It’s ridiculous. Just call in., which made things a little bit easier because it was almost ready when we got there. They were very accommodating and quick to take our order. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant smelt nice smelled clean and you could smell the food I like the fact that you could see what was being cooked the kitchen was spotless. Absolutely no worries about food safety issues or cleanliness The actual interior was narrow, yet spacious a decent amount of seating for the size, and It didn’t feel claustrophobic at all
The cost of the food is a little bit more than some places You definitely gonna get a better value at say Popeyes for a buy one get one or a KFC five dollar sandwich but for a one off restaurant prices are on par with the other places The strips were a bit expensive for what they were $3.20 per strip but if you want to treat yourself, they were worth it
I will definitely be going back asking for far less sauce on the Chicken sandwich
But for me, the highlight was the very well done well balanced chicken strips, and the chilli citrus sauce
