Fabulous new restaurant downtown. I don’t usually write reviews but this place is a must to visit if you’re near Canada Life Place. We had the lobster roll and Deb’s Caesar salad with garlic shrimp. The lobster roll was phenomenal and the Caesar salad had a generous portion of shrimp grilled perfectly. We were there before the Broadway in London show tonight and even though the place was full on the bar and restaurant side, the wait time was very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Can’t wait to try one of the wood-fired pizzas. We’ll definitely be back.

Wife and I decided to try this new place for a date night and we were very impressed. The decor is very nice. The lighting with lamps at tables sets a nice ambiance. The food was a little pricey bit very delicious. Will definitely be returning

Bear and Frankies – A Downtown London Treasure!

Bear and Frankies is an absolute gem in downtown London, offering amazing food and exceptional service. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The food here is outstanding! Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re craving comfort classics or something a bit more refined, their menu has something for everyone. I tried their signature entrée, and it was truly perfection—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and perfectly balanced flavors. Don’t skip dessert either; their lemon curd tart and seasonal specials are to die for!

The service is equally impressive. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to make you feel special. Our server was attentive, had great menu recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority.

I’ve noticed some negative reviews online, but they seem entirely out of place. Honestly, they appear fake or like they’re from competitors, because my experience here has been consistently excellent.

Downtown London is lucky to have Bear and Frankies. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a community favorite that delivers on every level. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. I can’t recommend it enough—it’s a five-star experience every time. Thank you, Bear and Frankies, for being a shining star in the city! Keep up the amazing work!

What a great pre game or pre concert venue! We had wings, nachos and a pizza and all 3 were fantastic. New pre knights game spot for sure

I do not usually post any reviews, good or bad, but felt compelled to do so reading some of the negative reviews posted about Bear and Frankie’s. I visited Bear and Frankie’s recently with a group of friends and everything was great. The servers were nice, the owner personally came over to talk to us and see how we were doing and the food was delicious.

We were a group of 7 and the sharing section of the menu was perfect. We ordered almost everything off that section and it was all very good. As others have mentioned the dynamite shrimp and lobster rolls are a must try. The pizza was amazing as well. True napolitana style pizza cooked in the most beautiful pizza oven I have seen in any restaurant. Their menu is not confusing at all. It is a menu with food options and prices like every other menu I have seen.

It is easy to write something negative about a place, but we should celebrate people who are willing to invest their money and time in trying to make the downtown core of London better. I wish more people would so that one day the downtown is a place you actually want to visit. How about keeping an open mind and realizing this is a brand new restaurant and there are going to be speed bumps along the way. I doubt anyone has started a new business or job and executed on everything 100% of the time.

Thank you Bear and Frankie’s for adding a touch of class to London.

Looking through the reviews here, particularly the responses to the reviews. It seems whoever is managing their Google page does not accept criticism well. To say that your prices are competitive and sell a $70 beef tenderloin is impressive. This restaurant is inside of a farmer's market and admits to being unable to do a good job at making their own nachos but wants to be treated like the best restaurant in the city. I also noticed a reply mentioning that their soft opening wasn't relayed publicly, announced to a "private group of friends and family", however, I personally saw advertisement for the soft opening on the coventmarket website itself. It's hard to trust an establishment to provide me with good food when they are publicly dishonest and need some serious PR training before replying to their reviews.

My partner and I were excited when Covent had announced a new restaurant opening, and found online the dates for their Soft Opening, and decided to make it a date night. We arrived at the restaurant and entered, and were not greeted with any service, but instead had to walk past many people to the back corner of the restaurant and initiate conversation with the hostess. She informed us that they had a change of plans and were, in fact no longer doing a soft opening, and instead are doing a Friends and Family night. We were not allowed service, so we had to leave. A let down as it was, we decided to check out their menu in case we wanted to come back and give it another try. Being directly adjacent and surrounded by many nice Italian restaurants and other pizza establishments, this menu felt very uninspiring to me. I could get the same items from multiple locations within a block at a cheaper price point. I wish them the best of luck, however I feel let down by my experience.

Food is to die for wow. Been a couple times and enjoyed. More people need to make reviews on the 99.9% of the good times they have at venues and restaurants. We all focus on being negative. Food is awesome, staff is helpful, atmosphere is perfect for some chats with friends. The place had a facelift and speaks for the proprietor investing in downtown. Check it out.

Wow, wow, wow!!!!
Cheers to Bear & Frankie's- London's Finest restauranteur has solidified another spot for incredible food in the city!
From the moment we entered, we were kindly greeted and seated, and of course, the service was exceptional.
As a true "foodie", I can assure you that this menu will feed all pallets and everyone will be more than impressed!
Everything made in house, and it shows. The pizza is top notch- by far best I've ever had (and I've had pizza in Italy)- that oven does it right! The dynamite shrimp a must- along with everything else on the menu! (We went with a large group and sampled it all)!!! Fresh, fresh, fresh!!!
So refreshing to have an establishment in our downtown core offering delicious food, a warm atmosphere and not your average boring pub foods.
Thanks for a new hangout- you'll be seeing us there often!

Really relaxing atmosphere, great for a cozy date night. The lobster and shrimp pizza was out of this world. And the entree burrata with pesto was really nice. Ava was a great server and she provided amazing service, kept asking us if we needed something like drinks and how the food was. Definitely will come back again
