Sorry , but never have been so shocked. We waited forever to get our meal and finally, I could not find my small piece of haddock. It was a square piece of hanky that had been refried once or twice and covered with a mountain of fries which looked refried as well. My friend 's dish looked much better with salmon and steamed veggies.
I did not want to say anything at the time but could not help but let you know

Wonderful! I've been looking for a fish place that gives you decent portions at decent prices and this was it. I'll definitely be coming back.

It's just an average diner with a fish angle. We have had ok food there in the past but last two times to this location were not great. I had what was called a crispy chicken wrap. It was mostly ranch salad and nothing about it was crunchy. I threw most of it out. The fries were cold and damp but still dry inside and the baked potatoes were both very hard still. Even the fish was smaller than previously received on both orders. The only thing anyone in the group liked was the coleslaw. It isn't a high end place but still for about $80 for take out for three people it isn't free either and you have to be able to expect something from it.

It has a wonderful, delicious menu. The waitress was a lovely person, very cheerful, smiling, and she even joked with us. The place is super quiet, to go with the family and enjoy a delicious plate of fish and chips

Have been coming here for years with my family and it never disappoints. Though I almost always order the breakfast — which is amazing, I can recommend anything on the menu. The place is lively yet peaceful and prices are great for what you get!

Visited while waiting for Robert Q bus. I had breakfast and wife had fish and chips. Both were excellent.

My family has been going to this location for over 14 years. The last three orders have been horrible at best. Food was undercooked very disappointing for what you have to actually pay now it should be at least cooked properly. Well, I guess it’s time to find a new fish and chip place

Archie's can be a bit pricey, but their fish just can't be beat. I've been to multiple fish and chips places, but no one can quite get the taste as good as what Archie's can!

The decor is pretty outdated (it has the usual fishing / ocean look going on that other Archie's have) and could do with a bit of a makeover, but that's just me. One goes for the fish, not the atmosphere, that's for sure. The last few times I've been, the service has also been mediocre.

I love the food, that's all it really has going for them, but I'm happy to take it to go to eat elsewhere like my own home.

Last Sunday, we decided to go out for breakfast, and it was honestly one of the most disgusting meals we’ve ever had. I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, and hashbrowns, and everything was just grossly undercooked. The eggs were slimy and barely cooked through, the sausage was pink inside, and the ham was tough and chewy. The hashbrowns were basically just raw potatoes—hard, cold, and completely inedible. The bacon was the only thing that wasn’t undercooked, but it was so overcooked, it was burnt to a crisp.

My wife had “dippy” eggs and bacon, but the eggs were a disaster—runny whites that were just disgusting to look at. My sons had pancakes, and one side was so overcooked, you couldn’t even cut it. One of them had bacon that was burnt to the point of being inedible, and the other had sausage that was undercooked and still raw in parts. It was truly repulsive. We’ll NEVER go back.

We were trying to make a choice on what we were going to eat.. We were very disappointed with the food and felt sick after we ate it. We will never order from them again.

Had a good breakfast, though I owe Stephanie (the lady with badass tattoos) an apology. I wasn't able to tip this time as I wasn't made aware that adding a waffle would cost $10 & didn't expect it anywhere near that, I was thinking $3-4. Between that, tax on it plus the two non-alcoholic drinks I had, it added up really fast. I was prepared for $22 & ended up with a bill of about $33. Not complaining but just explaining that I was caught very much off guard & didn't have the social ability to talk about it at the table.

The waffle ate what I had budgeted for a tip & then some. I do intend to go back on my next paycheque to order some water & tip her the $6.66 I had originally planned to then quickly go so that way her service wasn't for naught. Going forward if I ask to exchange something or to add something, if I don't get told how much I'm going to ask how much because I try not to make the same mistake twice.
