I went to get takeout for my family of 3, and what I got is plain horrible. I ordered a 3 piece halebet, coleslaw which wasn't even added on my order so that was extra, and a caeser salad. Guess what? $100 bucks!! And I got added fries which was cold meanwhile i don't live far from Archie's. I am very dissapointed and will never order from this place again.

I went with light batter on the fish and it seemed to be regular like I'm used to at other restaurants. It was very good!
For the shrimp I got all 3 shrimp choices as garlic butter. Very tasty!

When your kitchen staff notices you are almost out of clam chowder, you should prepare some more. 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday, that is one of your staples. That is what I wanted for my dinner. It's like going to McDonald's and being told they're out of Big Macs!
So I ordered something else. It was okay. Service wasn't all that great. I'll be honest I'm very disappointed tonight!

Disappointed in staff. My family has loved going to Archie's for weekly dinners for years. Archie's has been great. My kids go to the school next door and with all the construction in the parking lot at my children's school this year Archie's has been generous enough to allow family's to park there to pick up their kids quickly. Keep in mind this is 3:30 during slow hours for the restaurant. Unfortunately, today as I try to pull in their is a staff member standing in the pull in lane with a giant sign reading "Archie's Coustmers Only". I find this very rude, gave no notice to parents that this was a new rule. I could see if they were busy to save the spots for coustmers but there was only 2 cars in the entire parking lot. If they changed their stances on allowing family's to park there quickly to get their children they should of atleast informed the school so parents would be aware. Clearly they don't care about my children being picked up safely so it's time we find a new family orientated fish and chip stop. Archie's please reconsider the safety of the children and the traffic the hectic parking on the side of the road causes the public. Do better and be better. ????

It's definitely not a community establishment. Will not even allow parents to park on their lot for a few minutes to pick up their children from the school right beside it. Forcing them to park across a very busy street with the potential of a child getting hurt. As a growing community, we need to work together and help each other out, especially when it comes to children and their safety!!!!!!! Not a family-friendly place!!!!
