Disappointed in staff. My family has loved going to Archie's for weekly dinners for years. Archie's has been great. My kids go to the school next door and with all the construction in the parking lot at my children's school this year Archie's has been generous enough to allow family's to park there to pick up their kids quickly. Keep in mind this is 3:30 during slow hours for the restaurant. Unfortunately, today as I try to pull in their is a staff member standing in the pull in lane with a giant sign reading "Archie's Coustmers Only". I find this very rude, gave no notice to parents that this was a new rule. I could see if they were busy to save the spots for coustmers but there was only 2 cars in the entire parking lot. If they changed their stances on allowing family's to park there quickly to get their children they should of atleast informed the school so parents would be aware. Clearly they don't care about my children being picked up safely so it's time we find a new family orientated fish and chip stop. Archie's please reconsider the safety of the children and the traffic the hectic parking on the side of the road causes the public. Do better and be better. ????

It's definitely not a community establishment. Will not even allow parents to park on their lot for a few minutes to pick up their children from the school right beside it. Forcing them to park across a very busy street with the potential of a child getting hurt. As a growing community, we need to work together and help each other out, especially when it comes to children and their safety!!!!!!! Not a family-friendly place!!!!

An uplifting welcome by a very friendly person, who showed us to our table, a very extensive but easy to understand menu, absolutely fabulous food at very reasonable prices and a very helpful and efficient waitress made this a very enjoyable dinner experience!
Dietary restrictions: The menu showed the dishes in detail and reminded everyone of allergies and other dietary requirements
Parking: The car park is out front with space for around 20 vehicles and there is maybe some more parking round the back
Kid-friendliness: Kids are positively encouraged to eat here with a special menu section
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is step-free and there's plenty of space between the tables, chairs can be easily removed and the staff is very friendly and helpful

Super dated decor & atmopshere...there definitely was a boomer+ nostalgia vibe. The food was not exciting, but good...the generous side salad was very fresh, yet the fish portion was small compared with other f&c shops in town. Didn't like that I ordered light batter but got the regular. The service was a tad slow...we had to wait a bit before our order was taken.
