We have been ordering take out for many years from this location on Huron St. We always order the halibut and chip dinner. It may be a 2 pc dinner up to and including a 4 pc. The staff has always been fabulous to deal with. The food has never disappointed. We have tried other places for fish and chips and after our pick up order tonight we all look at each other and said this is the absolute best we have had anywhere. Kudos to Archies, we even said out loud tonight that we will save our money elsewhere and just order here from now on. Thank you Archies, we have been ordering here for 20 years and have never been disappointed.

I frequent this restaurant often. The food is good with a varied menu. I eat here with my family and friends in the daytime, sometimes on Senior Tuesday but most often on Saturday night with my daughter after church around 6 p.m. On Saturday night, November 22nd, I was there with my daughter and granddaughter. The place was packed and busy but Diana was the absolute only server there. She was so busy by herself and she did an amazing job. People were even come in close to closing time. Kudos to Diana for holding up a very big ship on her own.

This is our favourite restaurant in London.We like the Wellington Rd.location the best only bc of the location. The other Archie's are just as good. We always get Haddock or Halibut light batter with coleslaw there coleslaw is delicious.(it used to always go with your meal) but no longer.We sometimes still order it but its a little pricey.Not particularly fond of the fries I wish they would choose a better potato for they're fries.There is an option of baked so we usually go that way.The best part is the homemade coconut cream pie piled high with homemade whipped cream,best cream I've had period. Its a good place to eat.Its not cheap $60-65 by the time we tip.We drive an hour to get there almost every week.Please don't change a thing (ff maybe) the menu has something for everyone if your not a fish eater.Always clean and nice staff C&P Simpson Thamesville
