We went for Mother’s Day brunch. The food was good. I especially like the lobster, beef roast, and the eggs benedict. My kids enjoyed the waffles and chocolate fondu.
Service is slow. Waiters were seen talking to colleagues while we needed coffee/water refresh or a dirty plate to be taken away.
They did compensate our mamosa’s however, when they realized they had forgotten to bring them.
All in all it was a decent experience for Mother’s Day.
We are just back from the most wonderful Easter Brunch. We've booked for Christmas. This restaurant is consistently good, but exceptionally good on holidays. The food is great and the service is wonderful (a shout out to John Paul (J.P.) our service. Robert on the front desk manages things well.
It's a delightful place with good breakfast faire and very attentive staff.
We didn’t get to eat here because we showed up 30 minutes before the buffet ended (google searches suggest it ends at 2 pm, but apparently it ends at 1 pm), so keep the opening times in mind.
The price is also $49.95 per person before tax vs $35 that someone else noted here in a review.
Hope to try this place another time.
Best Sunday brunch in London the waiter I always get when I go there. Paul has been doing an excellent job for 29 years he makes the brunch even better with his amazing witty sense of humour. Also, if you're looking for a place for an event or wedding, this is a place to go.
Great breakfast. Great staff.
Steak was overcooked, but excellent service
The Sunday Brunch Buffet is perfect for special occasions. There is a large selection of hot and cold dishes and stations like an eggs benedict bar, meat carvings, chocolate fountain and more. Coffee, tea, and juices are included. Lovely ambiance with live music, historical space, fresh greenery, and lots of areas for photo taking.
You can also book large private events during the Sunday Brunch Buffet. We hosted a large event (100+ people) in the banquet hall during the Sunday Brunch. They adjusted the entire menu to match our dietary requirements. The banquet hall can be set up with a riser, podium, microphones, speakers, table numbers, simple centre pieces -- all the essentials for an event space. The banquet hall itself is just a standard looking banquet hall (no natural light, loud carpet, etc).
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian (not vegan) options.
Parking: There is free street parking on Sundays in London, with spots right outside of the hotel.
Kid-friendliness: Buffet is half priced for kids.

Impressive location and atmosphere but dissatisfied/disappointed in the size of my steak (see photo).

I don't mind paying a price for ANYTHING as long as it was worth it... I ordered steak and noodles... it was nasty, FULL of nothing but cracked pepper... that was ALL you could taste in the both noodles and steak... the steak was so tiny and for 33$ it didn't even have a vegetable... LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS STEAK!!! I would never eat there again... however, service was great.

Before I begin I want it stated that I thought a long time before writing and posting this review.. My mother reserved brunch for 3. We were placed under the cooling vent which was intollerably cold. When we brought it to the attention of our server we were told “it will warm up in here eventually” which it never did. Why on earth do they offer freezing cold plates to put your hot door on is beyond me! Add that to our freezing cold air blowing on us the food wa also cold in a second(no exaggeration) My “poached egg” was so undercooked that when I cut into it I think it ciucked! Clear egg snot filled my plate! At that point I was thoroughly grossed out and was done with this buffet. I did not say anything at the time as my mother was paying for it and did not want to upset her. She is on a pension and paid $210 for this brunch! This is unacceptable! Hoping management reaches out to me and rectifies this horrible experience! Thank you
**UPDATE**
As I had mentioned in my review of my May 12, 2024 visit how I was hoping that management of the Armouries Grille would reach out to rectify our very dissatisfied experience…they did absolutely nothing! Will never go back and will absolutely 100% not recommend this restaurant/hotel to any of my family, friends or clients!
Shame on them
Best Michelob Ultra on tap, Always Crisp. When I come in town for work, I always go to the Armouries for a Michelob on tap.

We stopped in based on reviews for an evening dinner and everything was amazing. The waiter was super friendly and knew the menu in-depth. We tried the nachos based on his recommendations and they were perfect. Something on every bite! At one point, I even asked for half a glass of soda and it came served in a smaller glass. Fantastic service. Super friendly. I'd highly recommend stopping by.

What an amazing Sunday brunch we had at the Armouries today to celebrate our parents 65th wedding anniversary! The ambience was perfect, the staff were super friendly making us feel very special and the food was delicious! We especially loved the Eggs Benny bar, while the kids particularly enjoyed the chocolate fountain …well, actually we all did! ? Everything was top-notch and it was the perfect choice for our celebration! Thank you Armouries…we will be back!!
