It's lovely driving into the Ivy Spencer. We always get a friendly greating from the concierge.And of course, Wannee is an absolute delight! Wannee's omelets are the BEST in the city! I'm not exagerating.Her smile is infectious, she treats everyone with such kindness. I feel like I'm in her home as we chat as she prepares my omelet.Thank you you for all you do, Wannee! was staying at the ivey spencer leadership centre for the night. was told their was a breakfast buffet in the morning. when i went to Asher's lounge for the breakfast buffet, there was no signs of the breakfast cost, no employee to mention that their is a breakfast cost or ask for vouchers. however, conveniently, when we were all done and leaving, that is when they remembered to ask if we are part of the wedding group or pay for breakfast. they charged $50 me for two people, i had an omelet she had a cheese bagel. Deceit at its finest.

I cannot say enough about the Ivey Spencer. My room was perfect for me, some are a little small but there is everything you need for one person. And the beds, let me tell you how comfortable their beds are, they're like sleeping on a cloud. I so wanted to try and sneak it into my car for home. It was a very stressful time for me when I came in late after I left my husband at University Hospital waiting on open heart surgery. There was a problem with my reservation, my daughter-in-law booked the room under her name and her credit card and they couldn't find it, so their front desk clerk Bhupesh Ray worked tirelessly trying to find it, going as far as talking to my daughter-in-law for me because by then I was so tired and I honestly couldn't make sense of anything. It took a bit but they finally got it figured out for me. It was such a relief to have someone taking care if all the details especially after a very long day of driving from Windsor. There wasn't even a problem when I had to extend my stay due to complications with my husband's surgery, without any notice. I had to change my room due to a previous booking but that was no problem for their front desk clerk Artur Neto. Again having to extend my stay these young men did everything to make my stay here as comfortable as possible. I must say, all of their employees here at the Ivey Spencer from the custodial staff to their bartenders, servers, and even the chefs who creates amazing meals for their clients always took the time to say hi and chat a bit. The grouds here are absolutely stunning. I can just imagine how it looks here in the summer time. The history here alone is so fascinating you really need to check it out. I would most certainly recommend the Ivey Spencer to anyone who's looking for a different place to spend some quiet time. It's such a great experience. I would love to come back with my husband and enjoy our surroundings on a happier note.A great place to stay. For anyone who's loved ones are here in the hospital, this is the place you need to be. The surroundings here ease your stress and make it easier to face another day
