I recently visited Asmara Coffee Shop for the first time after hearing so many recommendations, and I can confidently say I’ll be back! As someone who works at a locally owned, independent coffee shop back home, I have a real appreciation for quality coffee, and Asmara did not disappoint.
I had an iced latte that was perfectly balanced—smooth, rich, and just the right amount of kick. Paired with a lemon blueberry scone that was light, fresh, and bursting with flavor, it was a delicious treat. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and I’m excited to visit again soon!

I live in an area of the city where there isn't a single independent coffee shop--only chains, like Starbucks. I quit Starbucks (almost) 2yrs ago and was on the hunt for an independently owned cafe near me. Asmara is the closest one so my partner and I decided to give it a try.
Asmara is now my go-to spot. If im having tea with a friend, this is where I want to go. And every time I visit, it's fantastic! The coffee and food is great! The staff are very friendly and attentive and the owner is a truly lovely human being.
This is a local shop I will happily support and visit for years to come.
