We went to Bernie's last night it was super loud, but we were in a sports bar so its expected. Our server with the dirty blonde hair was just horrible. She was training you think if two girls are taking care of you you'd be able to get half decent service and they should train someone to know to serve the right way. It wasn't any busier than a normal Tuesday ( we come in every week). And we felt neglected and felt like when we asked our server for anything she was just rude and made it seem like we were inconvenience her by asking for a side ranch. Our neighbor was at the high top and we talked to them and the same server was serving them and they said the same. Honestly unless you are getting one of the OG long time servers at Bernie's you are gambling with what service you'll get. The food was great and the beer was cold so at least they can provide that.

Metal shards in food!!! 3 out of 4 plates had metal shards in food, including in soup. How is that even possible if not intentionally done? To add, menus are not cleaned, had food on them, old dirty coasters provided, service very slow, waitress stinks like smoke! How is this restaurant even in business.

I ate at the Byron Bernie’s location in Byron yesterday. I ordered the bruschetta which was absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend. The chicken shawarma salad on the other hand was terrible! The chicken was cold and the salad dressing was super tart. When the waitress came around to check on our meals I mentioned that the chicken was cold and she said it shouldn’t be that way and that she could substitute it for something else. So I asked for a Greek salad instead. The Greek salad wasn’t anything spectacular and as you can tell from the photo I took it was swimming in salad dressing. The dressing was also very tart and had a lot of vinegar flavour. The waitress was great and nice enough to not charge me for either salad. I would go back for the bruschetta but that’s about it.

Honestly, every element was great. Our server was very attentive, the cocktails we ordered were a great price and tasty, and everyone's meal arrived hot and flavourful with generous portion sizes. Prices are really good here for what you get. We had dinner on the patio and enjoyed the flower boxes that surrounded us. Only suggestion would be to play music on the patio, although we were the only guests dining outside so perhaps they normally have music playing. I'll definitely go back. ??
