Bernie’s in Byron is a solid spot for casual eats! The half-price apps are a great deal, and their house-made BBQ sauce is to die for. Servers can be a bit slow at getting to your table, and don’t expect refills unless it's beer, but the food makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

Really nice place and I hear most of the menu is great. I just found my wings overdone and I don't think you can usually over do wings. I still ate em though.

While our food was outstanding it was really the service that made me Wright a review. We went in with our 1 year old and off the hop they did what ever they could to make him comfortable l. At the end of our meal he got upset and one of the owners came over and offered him some cheese and crackers to witch my son loves!!! Needless to say this will be our future date night spot. Thank you ti the staff and owners.
I think they needed more staff
Considering it wasn't busy ....it was very slow. Didn't get asked for refills and no one cleaned our table. Just not get experience all around
Great place

The ribs were fantastic!
Fabulous service. Accommodating for our large Terry Fox group. Food was great. Servers efficient and courteous.

It's not the Taj Mahal, but undoubtedly a great local spot for drinks and food. Relaxed atmosphere and kid friendly.
Great spot. Lots of menu options. The staff were super nice.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!
The server doesn’t even introduce herself and expects you to shower her with tips after providing a terrible service.

Great food and great place to catch up with friends
We love Bernies. It was Monday March 17th wing night, St Patrick's day and the restaurant very busy. All 4 in our party ordered the wings/salads and I ordered a fatoosh salad. It was missing the green peppers, scarse on the onions and not very much cucumber or those crispy bits, it was mostly all lettuce. The restaurant was very busy but our waitress never came back to check on our meal. There were 5 of us. I will not order it again it was $14.95 which is expensive for a bowl of 95% lettuce. We will always go back to Bernies. But by the time our waitress came back I had eaten most of the salad. Other staff members, including the cook placed our food and refilled our waters.
