The taste may be okay but the portions are smaller than a child's. I ordered 2 portions of what appears to be rice and sauce with very little gyro. They barely fed 1 . The owner is defensive in these google reviews but the truth is in their menu.Dear owner, you can absolutely reply to this as you have with others review because criticism isn't something you accept well but you can't charge that much for the food you put out and then get insulted when people call you out on it. It's a food truck not a fancy restaurant with tapas. Get it together .To the owners response, it's buy 1 get 1 and it still doesn't change the fact that your serving small portions fit for kids. I'm not sure what the "apparent deal" has to do with anything. If anything, it just keeps proving , that I overpaid. But thanks for trying.

Been ordering from here for years. Had a delivery not come in today and was able to reorder on door dash. Instead of calling to double check, they just cancelled my order. Thanks ?Edit : driver is blocked, thank you for that but I still didn't get my gyro ?

Loved Sammy's - it was always a stop for me on pub night or on the way home. But this new shop is simply not that good. Smaller sizes, less taste and over all a lesser experience.Sammy's was 5/5 ...now things have changed. Too bad.

I think the owners replies are comedic. You are calling customers cheap for complaining about portion size, but on uber eats half your menu is ALWAYS discounted and on sale or buy 1 get 1 free? maybe just listen to the people?

The food is so tasty, like a burst of flavors. You can feel the Greek vibe, and the owner is super nice and friendly. Large portions, very delicious and always fresh. Gyro, Souvlaki, Greek Fries, Poutine U name it, every dish has its unique taste.
I ADORE and LOVE this place. Greek Fries with Tzatziki and Lemon sauce on top are absolutely out of this world. Gyro poutine and Gyro Diner with rice with Greek Salad are best.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 |
People writing negative reviews for this place really need to consider what they're reviewing. If you're looking for a high quality family restaurant - don't choose a food truck then complain LOL. This is street food and it does a good job at being street food. This is a food truck on Richmond row, a road with a ton of foot traffic, mostly drunk people or people looking for a snack in a rush. It's Greasy and salty and great at being exactly what you'd expect from a food truck.

If these portion sizes are too small for you, you're either a body builder, work a physically demanding job 8 hours a day, or need to reevaluate your eating habits to find out why you need such an alarmingly large amount of food to be full. Food itself is good, small Greek fries is filling and satisfying.
