Woke up today wanting some beef patties and found this place online. The guys there are very chill and nice. I got the oxtail special today and 2 beef patties with a bev. I cant lie this is some top tier oxtail and I’ve had oxtail. The sauce is gasss, and the beef patties were hittin too. This spot needs some more love for the kind of food youre getting here🙏🏼 will be going back to try everything on that menu. (When you can see the bbq outside you know its bouta be fire). For real check this spot out you won’t regret it, prices are pretty reasonable too. For my oxtail meal, 2 beef patties, and a drink was still under $30.

First time there I tried a Jamaican patty which to be honest I wasn’t big on. There was nothing wrong with it, I just am not huge on pastries.
I also ordered the jerk chicken. It was cooked perfectly and was pretty good.
When I was there I saw a couple of customers come in and they all ordered Jerk Pork. I never had jerk pork but if everyone ordered it I figured it has to be good. I came in a couple weeks later and tried it out. I was amazing!!
Last summer I went to Jerk fest and tried jerk pork from multiple vendors. Some of them were really good, but in my opinion Beefies was the best!
I was craving jerk pork today so I came in and had some and it was even better than I remembered. Lots of sauce (though next time I am going to ask for more because I am one of those people who like lots and lots of sauce. Just to be clear they did not cheap out on sauce). It has a really nice bite to it. I like spicey food so I thought it was perfect. For those not huge on spicey, this spice is a sharp bite then goes away. It is not a slow burn and it doesn’t linger for too long,
I think I am going to take my old lady on a picnic this weekend. We will stop in to beefies. I was told to try a jerk chicken wrap and rum cake, so that’s what I am getting for the picnic. I also really want to try the oxtail. I have had oxtail before at other places (only a couple of times), but I can’t wait to taste what Big Beefie can do.
Also the service was great. Beefie is always friendly and is fun to talk too.
