You show a bunch of items on your menu as being vegan/vegetarian yet it says in the ingredients there is feta cheese in not one but multiple menu items. Please educate yourselves on what veganism is before you make false labels on your menu. Anyone vegan that is visiting please make sure you ask for full ingredients before ordering something. There is dairy milk in some of these meals listed as vegan as well.

My girlfriend and I went out for dinner. She had been there when it was Bistro (same owners) and raved about the food, service, and how nice the place looked! When we walked up the walkway was not at all maintained, but we got over and carefully walked up. Inside, the place is run down. It was as if they are in the middle of renovations? It wasn’t clean looking either. We ordered our food: a chicken shawarma with fries and a falafel plate with rice and salad. The chicken shawarma did not disappoint although the fries were pretty greasy. My girlfriend ordered off of the vegan/vegetarian menu because she’s vegan and always orders falafel plate since it’s always been a safe bet. The guy was great with adding extra hummus instead of garlic sauce. When we got the plate there was cheese on the salad, which wasn’t what either of us were expecting. He was nice and offered to make another without cheese once we told him she can’t eat cheese. After we sat down we realized the dressing looked like milk, so I asked and he said “yes”. At this point we were both confused and decided to just stick with what we had especially since there was only one staff and people were coming in. How is there only one staff on a Friday night at 10-11pm? After eating, as we walked out we forgot about the blocks of ice right in front of the stairs and I stepped on the ice and fell backwards into my girlfriend, who lucky me, is a beast and grabbed me by my coat mid fall to pull me up. This experience was super disappointed since we love the Horton and Wellington location! :( what’s going on shelbys??

Truthfully, it just wasn’t any good. I got the shawarma Poutine and I was very disappointed. The flavour of it is just unbearably sweet. I couldn’t even finish it. Also, there was hardly any protein on it, and for $11 it was a little much for just French Fries.

Amazing spot in Masonville. Was greeted by a friendly guy behind the counter who was extremely interested in ensuring my family and I knew what the options were and some selections that would probably be most kid friendly. Food was awesome. I had a shawarma salad (keto), and wife had the falafel tacos.
