Tried out the new cafe yesterday, busy but not a long wait. We wanted soup, only one choice. The 'Thanksgiving dinner potato soup' had little flavour, and seemed like watery gravy, we thought they must have forgotten the vegetables etc. The table next to us also had the soup and didn't care much either, actually only ate a quarter of it. Definitely needs someone in the kitchen who knows how to actually make soup . We were disappointed.

I was shocked that only take out containers are available. Environmental stewardship ??? Also, decor is dated for a new locale - feels more like a Swiss chalet than a coffee shop perfect though for the over 65 crowd. Cappuccino mediocre at best. Staff lovely though. Would only get take out Capp if I can’t make it to Dark Horse. Unfortunately very disappointing.

Great to have this gem reopened in Wortley Village! Only wish they used real dishes and mugs when ordering items to stay; a lot of needless waste is produced!

No vegan options here despite it being 2026. Many people don't want to participate in violence towards animals, so it would be nice to offer some compassionate food choices at your Cafe.
