Boxcar Donuts - Masonville Shop

Came across this shop while making a visit to another shop in this plaza. It is tucked out of the way. The place is lovely, modern and clean, serving old fashioned donuts. A large variety of beautifully hand decorated donuts. We thought they were delicious and were happy to have stumbled upon this small bake shop. I wish I had bought more!

Ordered boxercar donuts for my daughter a first year student at Western University. As we do not live in ON, I wasn’t familiar with the area or bakeries, and went searching online for options, Boxcar from its website seemed to fit the bill. I called to get further info, custom the order and guarantee they could deliver. Staff was great, answered my questions and delivered as planned to the university dorm. My daughter & friends said donuts were delicious.

I consider myself to be a donut expert. These were gourmet prices, but mass market quality. On par with what I could get at a grocery store or chain coffee shop. I wouldn't go back.

Boxcar is my ultimate favourite place for
donuts. Some of the most unique flavours in the world. Every donut I’ve ever had from this place has been amazing. They sell out quickly so the earlier you go the better. The coffee is great too.

We went in during the floor renovation so didnt sit in. Friendly and professional staff, she suggested all the flavors and information us about the promotion. The london fog donut was soft , smooth and creamy but if the fragrance of earl grey tea is stronger would be nice, this donut is not too sweet which is nice. Affogato is kind of sweet, this too, the taste of coffee is less which made less punching smell. The strawberry matcha latte, for me is okie, a little bland.

Went for the first time, picked strawberry fritter and lemon merg. They both tasted the same which was underwhelming. I thought there would be a stronger strawberry flavour and distinct lemon flavour but no.
Yes their donuts are super fresh and fried donut taste with icing.....but just no truly amazing special flavour. Please go try as they are fried tasty treats ...but I was expecting more specialty flavour.
Was just a bit disappointed.

Excellent donuts! They have regular donuts that are always on the menu and then special donuts that change every week. At Christmas, try the giant gingerbread donut (desert for 10!). Donuts are yeast donuts and not cake donuts. The price of a donut is much more than what you'd pay at Tim's, but the size of the donut and the quality make up for it. Coffee is also excellent -- they use beans from 49th Parallel in Vancouver.

My only gripe is how much they pressure you to pay by debit instead of credit. They made me feel guilty using a credit card. I understand that there are higher transaction costs associated with credit, but please realize that for some customers (such as corporate purchases), credit is the only option. Instead of pressuring the customer and potentially pissing them off, consider transaction fees to be the cost of doing business or simply increase the price of each donut by 10 cents. That's how almost every other business works.

Cute little place, with amazing treats. Too bad not a lot of room inside, and hard to find, but I was happy with my visit. It’s in the middle corner at the very back. If you like donuts ? you’ll love this place

these were absolutely delicious! I didn't know what to expect and my expectations were admittedly not that high but me and my sister both loved them a lot. we got a chocolate strawberry donut and the honey pistachio donut and both were incredible.

Sadly had ordered several times and today the staff were nothing but rude and ignorant. When voicing my issue about that the blamed me and turned around will NOT go back again.

Wowww! The most amazing space i have ever discovered in London. What a great variety of Donuts and the skor frappe-chino was like heaven on earth. Guys do check for Boxcar it is really worth to spend money than the Starbucks and tims.

One of the best donut ? shop I have ever visited in London (ON) , I had order customise donuts for my friend’s birthday and had a great experience.The quality of donuts was very amazing and even the decoration was super cool.

Ignorant customer service

I’ve frequently had Boxcar’s regular donuts and they’re fantastic but this review is for their custom orders. I custom ordered 3 dozen mini donuts for a bridal shower and Boxcar delivered. They were extremely helpful by making sure I got exactly what I had envisioned and the donuts fresh delicious and exactly what I needed. Thank you so much Boxcar!! Will definitely custom order again and very much recommend!!
