The new menu features are amazing, I tried the baba ghanouj for an apprtizer and chicken cordon bleu for main, the presentation was wonderful and the chicken was great. Without a doubt the Budapest is the best restaurant in London!

Go out for dinner if you're at the hotel! Order takeout if you're in a condo!
Grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the relaxing but vibrant decor. Staff is friendly and the food is as diverse as the people of Budapest...

Had dinner with my wife and two friends last evening, the food was beyond superb! Our server Quinton was above and beyond attentive and gave the utmost care to details, to make our dining experience one to remember!
My husband and I went for dinner Sunday night. It was over priced for the food, but the bigger issue I had was kids kept running around while we were dining. We will never return for food.
We love coming here and it always feels like a home cooked meal, great service
5 ladies went for dinner and have dined in the past, albeit it was 6 years ago, but it was wonderful. Not this time!!! 3 of us had the Hungarian platter which has diminished greatly in portions and taste, but that wasn’t the main issue as the chicken was raw near the bone on two of the dinners. We told the waiter and he uncomfortably said ok I’ll let them know. Since we had finished the dinners we just pushed the raw chicken to the side and we kept enjoying each others company. Some time went by and finally the waiter came by and I spoke up and asked what was going to fine about the chicken. He said he would get the owner. She approached our table and one of the affected diners which spoke Hungarian, explained the situation in her language. The owner answered in English that the chicken is organic and no way that it was raw as she looked at us as though we were aliens. I couldn’t believe my ears. We were all shocked at her lack of professionalism and lack of health and safety. We’re of course debated but she kept saying it was not raw it’s organic chicken etc. Since we kept insisting, she reluctantly said ok i give you 10% off and walked off. Not an offer of a replaced chicken or even an apology. Even Michelin star Chefs will humbly amend a terrible situation as such. Whomever is reading this review, please stay away from this restaurant as these owners do not appreciate health and safety nor your patronage.
Incredible food, Quentin is a great server!
Perfect in every way.
Great food options. Booze options. And great service.
One odd minor thing. Coffee was charged by the cup rather than the norm top up refill free.
Elsewise fab.

Very friendly staff and great food
My boyfriend took me to the Budapest Restaurant on Saturday, January 28th for my birthday dinner. I had never been there before, and was looking forward to some good Hungarian food, and I was not disappointed .. it was very good food. However, the service was slow, albeit friendly, we sat for an hour after ordering before receiving our celebration platter (we were told on numerous occasions that there was a party (of 20 people) and that the kitchen was backed up). We were never offered bread or anything else to eat in the meantime nor did our server refill our empty water glasses. Finally, we got his attention and asked for bread, which was of course delivered at the same time as our meal. It was mentioned to the server that it was my birthday, he said that there would be a surprise. SURPRISE .. he forgot!
Great service. Unbelievably delicious food. Home cooked feeling with a hearty but delicate finish.
