Need a quick work lunch of tasty food? Cafe Soho is a great little spot tucked into an upcoming neighbourhood. Yes it is a small coffee spot in a commercial building... but don't let that fool you. Besides great local coffee and cookies, the chef prepares unique daily specials. I especially try to make it here on pizza days. Check Instagram for daily menu @cafesoholondon
Disappointed I didn't get to try anything during my visit. The debit machine was having a communication/connection error ("failure on comm mode") and needed to be rebooted. I tried to explain that that is a machine error code (I work in retail, we see the same code on ours) and had her watch me input my pin. I tried my card 4 times and was told I wasn't inputting my pin or there was a problem with my card because there had been no other issues this morning. Unfortunately I didn't have cash on me and I didn't want to argue over a bagel and my ride was pulling up so I apologized for wasting the bagel, as it was being heated while I tried to pay, and left. I wish she had offered to troubleshoot the machine instead of insisting it was my own card issue. Everything looked delicious though.

Nice place but not inclusive to people who dont eat animal products. I appreciate not having food as it isnt as common to offer a vegan menu item but not even an alternative for dairy in coffee. Id be happy to go back and support a local business but you currently have nothing to offer me but black coffee. Hopefully that changes. Thanks
