The service was great, but the doubles were not too good. The Channa was flavorful and really saucy but it was a bit lacking on the sauce. The bara definitely seemed a little old, with a bad crumbly texture.

I work near here and adored the food, especially their red sauce. When I went in recently there were bugs everywhere. I’m talking flies, ants and cockroaches climbing on the walls and ceiling. She said she had just sprayed and that was why they were coming out but there clearly is an infestation on the property for that many bug to be seen by the naked eye. I bought my food and didn’t complain other than informing the owner, who had a hand held vacuum at the ready, so I can’t imagine this is a brand new problem. I hate to dog on a small business but bugs are a major issue here.

Vegetarian options: My favourite is the curry potato and Chana roti! With side of pumpkin choka ? I have yet to try the Lentil Peas Stew, or Red Beans Stew

I recently had the pleasure of dining out at Caribbean Stove Pickup, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food and service! The curry goat plate and curry chicken & beef stew plate were both outstanding. The meat was tender, falling apart, and full of flavor - just how I like it. The rice and beans were cooked to perfection, and the coleslaw had the perfect crunch and creaminess, with great seasoning.
Unfortunately, the fried plantains we ordered were missing from the order, which was a disappointment since I was looking forward to trying them for the first time.
Despite the location being a bit of a concern for me (busy road and not the most welcoming surroundings), the excellent food and service make it worth the trip from Ingersoll, We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Caribbean cuisine.
