Small selection but excellent. Bought a savoury croissant and it was delicious. Also a loaf of bread ?

The price does not justify the taste. I bought 1 piece of chocolate croissant and paid $8.48. I was expecting it to be delicious for its expensive price however the taste is just “okay”. The taste is not bad, I’m more disappointed with the price.

I tried a raspberry cream stuffed spiral croissant and was extremely disappointed with the quality, especially having paid around $9 for it. The croissant was dry, stale and chewy. The cream lacked flavour and had an almost curdled texture. I am definitely a food snob and have very high expectations but this was honestly the worst pastry I've had in years. I would never spend my money here again.

Today, I visited Churis Bread. It’s an artisanal bakery. It’s highly rated, but I’ve never found the time because I’m almost always busy when they’re open. I made sure to really enjoy what they have to offer.

Fortunately, they have booths to sit in. I sat down in one and bit into my first pastry. It was a pistachio croissant. By looking at it, you can see chopped pistachios on the outside; on the inside, however, there is a sweet, creamy filling. I would describe it as a pistachio flavoured custard. Incredible.

Then, I sunk my teeth into a chocolate chip cookie. It was light, soft, and moist. It reminded me of cookies from a bakery in my hometown of Moncton, New Brunswick.

My indulgence finished with a classic Boston cream donut. It was airy and doughy, yet the chocolate topping was fresh. They did a great job of putting a lot of custard.

Now, Churis has proved its worth. Their pastries were masterful. Old school bakeries are few and far between, but they ARE still out there. This is one.

Cute bakery that we were excited to try. No one there and waited for a few minutes for a server to appear from the back room.
Purchased a chocolate croissant like pastry. Not much chocolate inside and tasted stale. Our Boston cream donut had the taste and consistency of a bun with cream inside and chocolate on top. Very disappointing.

Parking: Parking in front of store and on the south side of the building. Difficult to continue north after stopping.

Delicious bread and bread bombs. The croissants are soft, moist and flavourful. Must try. We get our weekly sourdough bread from here and add couple treats during our visit. Happy and pleasant staff.

Recently done a brunch pastry catering from here. One of the best tasting morning pastries in town. Highly recommend their Scones, Croissants, Brazilian breads. All were freshly baked and tasted really delicious. They will be my go to place for pastries.

One of the best bakery's in London. Their cappuccinos are delicious and you must try their pistachio croissants when you go. Hands down the best croissant I've ever tasted. Would definitely recommend this place!!
