Fish wasn’t cooked through so it was gooey inside and some of the french fries were still cold in the center. Chips and fish were pretty greasy. The tartar sauce did not taste homemade and it was not included when the meal was served. I had to ask for the tartar sauce and then I had to ask again for a knife. It wasn’t busy but the service was pretty bad. The fish and chips have potential to be amazing if it was cooked through and the service was better. This was at the Gibraltar...

I was given money for birthday supper. I picked fish and chips. One thing you do get us a lot of french fries. The coating was not very consistent Being really thick on one side. And I certainly did not enjoy the coleslaw which had so much vinegar. I dumped it out.see picture for the vinegar

Today, Dad and I wanted a quick takeout place. After a bit of searching on Google Maps, I found just what we had in mind. It’s called Craklins Best Fish & Chips, situated on Third St and Dundas St. It’s where the flea market is.

This joint is open for dine-in on weekends when the Gibraltar Flea Market is open, but today was a weekday. We had the option to eat at one of their tables outside. Perfect for an autumn lunch outside with the family.
