This is my first time ordering from Dasyem. The jollof and whiting fish is amazing. I can't wait to try more things from here. This former Naija girl is happy. Could you make suya too???

I visited Dasyem African Kitchen this weekend while in London, and the foods bought were really delicious and had freshly made original naija taste. I and my family enjoyed all the delicacies.
The food vendor was also very friendly and cheerful.
I definitely recommend 👍🏾

Out of all the Nigerian restaurants…this one won’t see me again.
The food was under seasoned and the meat portions scarce. The Ofada dish…I brought home and supplemented with onion salt and black pepper and cayenne. Anything would do to increase the taste. Quite bland.
The Egusi I’ve never seen this way. Lots of oil…heaps of spinach and heaps of cassava with only two pieces of protein. Bland. The pounded yam…bland. I tried.
More thought and passion must be put into the menu and cooking. It’s house food not restaurant food. My apologies but I must be honest. Should be sold for half the price at least. No photos. I gave the food away.

Sad to say, it was not very great. The meat is pretty much a rock, I could not bite into the meat that came in the Egusi soup, it could have been cooked a lot more, as well the gelatinous meat thing, that was also very hard to bite into pretty much the protein part of the meal needed to be cooked a lot more. I usually go to Vas Cuisine for African food, but I said let’s try somewhere else just to see…and all I can say is we like a certain place for a reason I would advise if you want to try great African food go to Vas Cuisine the meat is cooked very well there. Overall their food is better tasting.
